Phil back making videos - we love to see it.

Phil, would love to see Vision used in Locked Down Board situations in SRPs. Seems like you ran into a lot of these spots in your challenges and would be interesting to see them navigated both from a theory and exploit strategy

If you ripped in the A9hh we would have to change your Twitter handle to @SelbstPoker

Hey Chris -

That AQo hand around the 18min mark when the turn brings the 4 liner and you opt to check; aren't you essentially capping your range and saying "I never have a straight here"? Seems like a good player on brick rivers can do a lot of over-betting to blow you off your equity (especially in the blinds).

Awesome video as always. Looking forward to more PokerGo footage. Any luck with blacking out whole cards except for Hero in live play footage?

Cheers!

Great series - also, congrats on the recent PCA win!

Any chance you'd be willing to do some footage from that tournament?

OTR at 33:33, you mention that you don't like your block bet on the river, however, on the turn you mentioned that checking will allow you to rep Jx, some combos of Kx and some combos of 9x for value. What changed between the two streets?

"This isn't a thing" is slowly starting to become my favorite saying ever.

Hey Man - Love this format as I don't think there's enough training for Live MTTs online.

Suggestion for future videos - can you select a hero and only go over hands the VPIP while blocking out opponents whole cards?

Blinds: $5.00/$10.00 (3 Players) BN: $2357.50
SB: $2745.13
BB: $978.48 (Hero)
Button is super agro and 3b a ton and making some pretty sick bluffs.
Preflop ($15.00) Hero is BB with A K T 9
BN raises to $35.00, SB folds, Hero raises to $110.00, BN calls $75.00
Flop ($225.00) A J 2
Hero bets $80.28, BN calls $80.28
Turn ($385.56) A J 2 9
Hero bets $253.15, BN raises to $1143.01, Hero folds
Final Pot BN wins $889.86
Rake is $2.00

Yah, I think I agree with you in that regard, and it could be he was stabbing on the turn when he picked up a ton of equity and bricked out the river so he checks, however, he knows that I stab a lot and decided that against me, he could bluff raise there for full pot and apply a lot of pressure.

Blinds: $5.00/$10.00 (5 Players) BN: $1000.00
SB: $7312.99
BB: $4092.32 (Hero)
UTG: $3361.48
CO: $1340.75
SB has been soul reading me all session. I think he's up like 4k on me for the night. Pretty solid and hasn't really shown any bluffs. BN is in the game for about 10k and gave me a full double with a weak wrap on a flush board after getting it in on the flop
Preflop ($15.00) Hero is BB with K 6 T 8
2 folds, BN raises to $35.00, SB calls $30.00, Hero calls $25.00
Been playing with these two for about 4 hours now.
Flop ($105.00) 7 6 J
SB checks, Hero checks, BN checks
Turn ($105.00) 7 6 J T
SB bets $102.00, Hero calls $102.00, BN calls $102.00
Considered a raise here, but I don't think my hand can stand a massive raise and I didn't want to fold out my equity.
River ($411.00) 7 6 J T 7
SB checks, Hero bets $290.00, BN folds, SB raises to $1120.00, Hero folds
I thought this was a pretty good spot to steal as the straight gets there on the turn and I could easily have filled up. Was hoping to fold the SB off a straight with this bet considering the action
Final Pot SB wins $988.00
Rake is $3.00

Really enjoyed this series. Do you think that playing too tight long term is an exploit that your opponents can make against you? If so, what would you say a reasonable VPIP/PRF/3B stat is? I find myself in in the 40/25/15 range and wondering if I should be tightening up.

Thanks!
