Nice score Mario. Don't know if there's a high stakes mtt group. At the moment, we are about 7. If anyone drops off, I will let you know. Cheers

Hi,
I am from the UK, and I play small & medium stakes MTTs on stars & stars.fr & also throw in the occasional high stakes.
I am looking for a study group of 6 people who are serious about the game & are looking to improve. I have already got one person interested, so that remains 4 people.
If anyone is interested in learning with others, talking about spots & hands & helping each other, then please reply and we would get something going.
Cheers - Keshman

I am interested in an MTT study group as well. I play low to midstakes MTTS & the occasional high stakes on stars.
Hey mate, I presume that you raised pre & Jon Doe called from the sb.
A cbet on a monotone flop is not always a bad thing, but you have to bear in mind that some players may raise you if they have the Ad, so bearing that in mind, would you have called a raise?
On such flops, I tend to cbet sometimes & check back sometimes, depends on how i think the player will respond/ & also whether he tends to fold to cbet a lot of the time.
Bearing in mind that the flop is draw heavy, he could have a lot of draws/hands in his calling range that hit that flop. Also, he's playing 41/19.
He could also be the type of player that calls flop cbets to see what you would do on the turn, & if you check then he bets the river with his whole range. The 7 on the river seems like a card that hits his range, especially if he called you with 78s.
I would call here if I had a K, and maybe call sometimes with Ace-high, just because hands like QJ, AJ, AQ have not hit.
What did you have by the way, and what was your final decision?
