At least 4x when Isoing... you can do your standard open plus the limper - for most people this is 3x + 1 - if the regs 3b behind you will deal accordingly as any shark would.
Jan. 11, 2023 | 7:21 p.m.
You've officially been buddied!
I didn't know that you could share a hand like that on acr.... listen man if you can afford runitonce then you can afford pt4. Just go out and get it. It's a necessity ... like chicken soup!
As for the hand i would probably reraise the isoer and raise turn.... as played I would bomb the river.
Jan. 11, 2023 | 11:34 a.m.
Mix in some 3b pre. As played fold flop.
Jan. 11, 2023 | 11:29 a.m.
^^^^ i like that! (And everything else previously)...
My feeling tho is I lean towards a call versus a reg if they're capable of jamming with a naked A◇ .... I think a fish or a nit could prompt a fold tho. I will openly admit that I don't like hero folding at the micros. Especially with Flushes>....

Stopped reading at the preflop when you called. Its ok to cc from the sb (every now and then) if say an utg opens and his range is tight. You need to take control of the hand especially when you are oop so raise pre if youre facing an open from HJ and later.

Also wanna add that you shoukd practice grinding endurance. The true poker pros put in volume and spend a ton of money and time on mental stamina and fortitude. So think of poker training as training for a marathon not a run in the park with your dog.
Get Jered Tendlers books.
Don't think about money. Think VOLUME and TIME. You're going to play four to six hours a day and study two. . . practice with play money tables if you have to. (Live is different. I would grind two 8-12 hour days straight and then take a day to study and a day to rest - maybe not in that order. Repeat.) Maybe in the beginning youll flip the playing and study time but you get my drift...
NOW GET TO WORK ROUNDER!
Jan. 11, 2023 | 10:32 a.m.
Cheapest way to learn....
Yes. Get FTGU.
Then if you absolutely must get a book then grab his kindle book THE GRINDERS MANUAL
Get GTO WIZ ... free version is ok for starters.
Submit hands for review here and on the two plus two forums.
For llive poker you can check out Mariano and Brad Owens for free and a plethora of really good vloggers on YouTube. (And all the great live stream with pro commentary)
Regarding the table size issue 6m is 9m missing the first 3 positions. You just need to know preflop ranges is all and adjust accordingly post. GTO WIZ can help you with that.

Idk if "range check" applies to mwp woth a 40/6... if they have like AK or 88 they're incentivized to call. As lkng as you get it in eventually im good with it.xr otf just feels like fps.

Not exactly terms but what are points and how do they work?
Jan. 10, 2023 | 7:50 a.m.
I think i would check flop. Call turn and fold river. We have zeros fold equity oam this board.

Thank you! I would love to see some live play. Are these blitz or reg tables? My playing times are limited. Are you exploiting in the late hours of the night. How do you do on rakeback? Do you think that off sets the "fish" tank of ignition?

Hey Frankie - welcome my friend!
A few questions to boot - sorry if you covered this already ...
What room are these hands played in? If it's not on say ACR or IGN what are your thoughts on the pool you're playing versus those two very different player pools - which are the pools that I am playing here in mid - amerrruhhkaaa ?
Also - I have been considering PIO - have you checked out GTO Wiz - if so what are your thoughts? I think that we can't node lock in GTO wiz versus the plethora of options in PIO make it probablby better - but I don't have PIO - I use GTO because I am a donk and don't want to put in the time towards leartning PIO - but maybe - probably in 2023 already!!! need to do that ... especially since GTO WIZ is soooooo expensive! :(
Lastly - the ole 1/2 harry potter... listen that's the option I got on my phone when I am playing. On said websites above - I can not change the options like you can with PS. So when I am playing on my phone - even on the cpu - I have like 4-6 tables up and I just don't have time to alter this bet that bet here... my sizings are otf - 1/2 and then on later streets it's either 1/2 or 3/4 or even psb or shoving depending on what I have blockers etc and who I am playing or what pool I am playing. I just don't have the liberty or time - to mix up these various sizes for the plethora of plays - I am just not that smart. I just wanna play poker man! (fwiw I think it was Max that said in one of his vids that if you can't waste time to alter the bets then eff it - just use 1/2 pot all the time as long as your "betting range" is balanced.)
thanks for your time brother.

You are the reason why I have been hanging around. Will you still be taking on private students?
Lastly how do the Ontario games compare to the Bovada pool? Is your advice in these later videos applicable to the bovada pool? Thank you! And gl!

after the fish calls like it's their job I didn't know if I should shove pre over the utg 4b. That combined that we are playing somewhat deep - 100bb> led me to just flat and see what transpires post. But - any merit to shoving pre?
Also - before we consider folding does UTG stats being 39/32/3b:15 47 hands when everyone was relatively tight or loose passive make a difference on where we stand in this hand? Essentially we've done 5 or 6 orbits and he's raised 1st in at least once in every single orbit - 3 fro LP and 2 from ep and 3b a couple of times from the blinds. They've been active.

^^^ Agree here. Definitely playing the same except pre. Upping it to 12 bb ...
Sept. 30, 2022 | 12:54 a.m.
I would bet the flop small 1/4 sizing with the Ah... As played I would be betting the turn - and if not there then otr. ... but yeah not much you can do when you check it down and he bets 80% - just have to let it go now.
Sept. 29, 2022 | 10:31 p.m.
Well if he leads:
AA-88,AJo,AJs-ATs,KJs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs-J9s,T9s,98s,87s,AcKc,AcQc,Ac9c,Ac7c,KcQc
Our equity is 32% - and we need at least 19% so probably best to call - even if he's only betting with sets, 2p and str8 we still have 21%... but I felt that both the size and the board - that he's betting that I was beat pretty good - any merit in folding?
Sept. 29, 2022 | 10:20 p.m.
what do you think his cold call 3bet range
AA-77,AKo-AJo,KQo,AKs-A9s,KQs-KTs,QJs-QTs,JTs-J9s,T9s,98s,87s AcKc,AcQc,AcTc,Ac9c,KcQc,KcTc,QcTc,Tc9c
Sept. 29, 2022 | 9:47 p.m.
I think it's a rather easy decision - fish donks all in on scare card - usually not a bluff ... so fold. If he bluffed you well then - good for him!

Sept. 29, 2022 | 7:47 p.m.
JJ beginning at 40:12 I was surprised you so easily gave up ... do we not have enough equity with our FD (one for the royal!), SD and two outs for the FH to continue ott? I think if he had an A or a K would he have 3b pre?
I am guessing the flop is a cbeck.
Don't post results.
