Hi guys!

Is there a way to reduce the variance? When I played PLO5 I ran 100BI's below EV. Obviously it doesn't mean I played well though :)

I noticed that I lost a ton of flips even when running it twice. Should I avoid getting into those situations altogether? For example I have flopped top set without a redraw facing straight/flushdraw. Is it better to wait for equity shift on the turn and stick it in if no scare card appears? Of course once in a while you get it in against a smaller set but usually it is against a draw.

Another thing is those AA vs AA/rundowns all ins pre. If I am almost certain that I am facing another AA hand should I rather call a 3bet/4bet rather than raise it all in pre?

I understand that these things probably depend a lot on the situation and stack sizes as well.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

Sounds like you have a solid plan for bankroll management. I will need one as well.
I agree that the player pool in PLO5 and PLO10 isn't that much different. I noticed slight difference when I played PLO25 though. Mainly that there are more regs and games are a little nittier.

I have a pretty aggressive playing style and can drop down 10BIs in a session pretty fast if things go wrong. I probably should take another shot at PLO25 around 1250$ and drop down if I lose 10BIs.

Good luck with your grind, Jason!

Hi.
I am borrowing this thread for a question regarding bankroll management.

What is you rule when you are taking shots and it goes wrong? When do you drop down in limits? After losing 10BIs?
I've had 100BIs for PLO10 several times and spewed most of my roll away when taking shots at PLO25.
I am clearly a mental game fish at PLO25 but I don't mind losing at PLO10.

Hi.

Nice video! I liked your thought process at the bottom left table around 26:00 with the nutflush blocker.

I play PLO10 and PLO25 myself and usually give up on the turn especially if the turn pairs the board because people are very call happy at those stakes. Or maybe I just give up too easily.

Keep up the good work! I am looking forward for the next video!
