You have a bankroll to sustain swings, 20bi swings aren't normal but do happen as variance as we all know is a pita. The way we combat variance is the higher the win rate the lower your variance will be. This is not to say we should not take breaks when were feeling off centered, but to have a black and white rule in poker seems self destructive as it's a game of grey area's everywhere.

Then again it depends on what your poker goals are, but long term having stop losses seems counter productive.

Use a variance calculator and you can see how good/bad it can get even if your a winning or losing player.

do some research on variance and understand it, and you will worry less about the dollar amounts and swings and focus more on making good decisions at the table not based on previous results from previous hands in the session(s).

Filter through your PT4/HM3 of the 25BI downswing how much is punting off of soft tilt, and how many are actually coolers? I ran through a 22bi downswing, pio'd and HH reviewed all the bigger pots and realized that I wasn't running bad anymore I was just punting stacks and reverting back to C game with tilt added in.

Play 100z on GG and 50z and nl100 reg tables on ACR would also be interested. Have a decent grasp and use of Pio.
