James Obst
Biography
James "Andy McLEOD" Obst was introduced to poker at age 14 and started playing online at 2 cent/4 cent LHE with as little as 20 cent loans from friends, often waking up in the middle of the night to play to avoid getting caught by his parents. While he is best known for his stunning tournament resume, he remains a very balanced player and is able to jump into nearly any game type and hold his own against the best in the world.
He has two FTOPS, one WCOOP and one SCOOP title to his credit, with the latter representing his biggest online score at $184k for his $3,150 Mixed Hold'Em victory. James was named Player of the Series in the 2010 WCOOP, with 4 final tables. He has played multiple $100k events, as well as the $250k buyin event at the Aussie Millions.
His training videos are incredibly detailed, and examine many of the unorthodox plays James is famous for. We hope you enjoy them!
