Hunter Cichy

Hunter Cichy was born and raised in Coon Rapids, MN. He finished a degree in Paramedic Technology at Century College and worked as a critical care paramedic for two years. During that time, he turned $500 into roughly $100K playing small stakes cash games and tournaments in little Midwest card rooms for fun on the weekends. In 2013, he quit his job and moved to Hollywood, FL to play poker full-time and immerse himself in all things poker -- including private coaching and writing a book on the game. Since 2015, he has routinely played live cash games for stakes as high as $100-$200 NL/PLO. He has also produced an impressive live MTT resume during periods of slow cash game action.
