What do you think about just minbetting to induce in the 28:20 JJ hand? I think it's a perfect game flow kind of situation where you have just shown that precise player that you will fold even if you get really good odds. I feel like villain definitely 3bet shoves a wider range in this spot than what he calls your shove with.
I think depending on what level of thinking villain decides to go with, this is either more +cEV than open shoving or +-0 cEV, imo. If villain decides that you know that he knows that you 3bet fold a lot of hands, I think he will just fold the same range of hands he would fold to your shove ( I really don't think he adjusts his ranges by tightening up too much because due to leveling he thinks you're now opening really tight, seeing as he still is the smallest stack on the table), and the outcome is the same. If he doesn't, his conclusion will be to shove a wider range than whatever he calls your shove with, and the outcome is you get more chips.
Also, my intuition and what we've seen of this player makes me think he's not that good and will just stay on the level of "he opens wide and folds a ton, I have KTo, easy shove"

Be careful not to confuse nash equilibrium shoves for "optimal". They can not be exploited. That is not the same as optimal. Choosing a (correct) exploitative strategy will make you more money.Just as an example, you can open shove ATs for 20+BB utg and it will be an unexploitable shove, however it's obviously more profitable in the vast majority of situations to just open a regular sizing and fold to 3bets, since if other players shove or 3bet you, you gain a lot of information about their range that you don't have when you open shove, generally making this a better choice than a simple nash shove.

With the KQo hand and 8bb you said "it's a pretty close spot" for shoving. Is this true? It's definitely an unexploitable shove (KJo+ in this spot w/ 8 bb), and I don't really see any much better situations coming up soon (on average) since your fold equity is so diminished from ending up with 5BB next round. I always thought KQo was a premium hand in this spot.

Don't know what else to say, but I love your videos man. The way you explain your thought process continuously blows my mind. I love how succinct your explanations are, you get to the point quickly and simply put I think there's a lot more information/word to be gained from your videos compared to other instructors. I dont know why, but when I watch your videos, like every 2 minutes light bulbs are appearing over my head because you just mentioned a small concept or something that I hadn't considered before.

Maybe a stupid question, what are "$11c" tournaments? Also, thanks a lot for the video. I like the way you explain this and hand history reviews in general are the most interesting videos, imo. Common leaks quickly show up in them.
I hope people who are more into MTT or NLH content check out your videos as well. I think the concepts you explain are absolutely applicable to those games as well. Just too many times I see people say stuff like "HUD doesn't give that large of an advantage if you take notes" which is not a realistic claim considering that a stat tracker literally tracks hundreds of different statistics that you could never notice on your own, let alone with actual detailed frequencies even when you're playing 8+ tables.
