if we open 30% and get 3b to 10bb, AQo is in the 4b stack off range and AQs is in the 4b bluff range, wouldnt it be there other way around?

thanks alot for the reply, was worried the thread would be dead, this makes way more sense now but im still a little lost with the 2nd part of it.
0 = 29.5F + (1 - F) (-29.85)
0 = 29.5F - 29.85 + 29.85F
on the 2nd line why do we add 29.85 and then take it away again? is that just me being bad at algebra?

I spent most of the day on the first video(lol) about preflop ranges by steve paul, specifically the Designing preflop ranges one, I got stuck on one of the EV calcs and im worried the thread might be dead and I wont get an answer, any chance you could take a look in the comments and see if you can help?

Really struggling to get my head around the 5B jam calculation
EV(5B JAM) = F29.5 + (1-F)(200.5E - 91)
we chose 30.5% equity, so do we have to do the calculation backwards to find F?
also im not doing anything wrong when I make the calculations like this am I?
200.5*0.35 - 91 = -20.825
would love some help with this, just hope the thread isnt dead, cheers

Decided im going to start putting it to use but I really dont know where to begin, im playing 10NLz atm, could anybody reccomend a good starting series or some sort of learning path I could follow?
I know theres a learning path up on the toolbar but alot of those videos are elite and I dont plan on getting that until i bother my arse to use essential first.

He definately shows he hit the flop hard or not at all by the turn bet because the 8 is a total brick, I think its either fold or shove, if you call he probably wont lay off the aggression especially not if another spade comes.

Im no expert but my opinion on the turn check.
I think you showed weakness there and gave away too much information about your hand, betting again on the turn could of maybe represented a straight draw aswell as a flush draw, probably wouldnt be 3betting with A-4 but your on the button and iv seen worse.

New member here, been playing for 3 months now and I dont seem to really be improving, I spend most of my time just grinding rather than studying.
I want to spend more time studying but I have no idea where to begin? can anybody point me in the right direction? the more advanced videos on here just blow my head off, cheers
yea i realised this was just me being bad at algebra, figured it out all now thanks alot for the replys Steve.
