Great video, im just getting into PLO and I really appreciated the way you broke down the hand strength preflop in terms of what position you would open and under what circumstances.
Great work

Amazing series!! I would really enjoy it if you record a couple live hours of a wcoop sunday! In my opinion, you don't need to get HU to make the days recording worth it. I would enjoy a couple hours of live commentary during a WCOOP sunday regardless of your results.

there is no point in checking this turn in position if you had the nuts. You want to build a pot and you want to get money from a weaker flush, which he could be on, I dont see any added benefit to checking this turn, unless you know the player and you can get him to spaz out or you know his river agression is high and he will plow into the pot OOP.

You played it fine until the river, this is where you check call IMO. All i was saying is that a more experience player wont put you on the nuts on the turn.

A general rule I have when there isn't a great enough sample size on opponents, and you have to assume he doesn't have much on you either, is that you have to think that he is thinking your opening range is pretty close to what you are holding or even a bit stronger. Thus, you need to know that flopping top pair or a combo draw could still get you in trouble.

Again tough to play your hand OOP, so a call with 100+ bbs is not horrible, but be prepared to check call a lot...just not my cup of tea to get into a check call scenario.

At this point I think I shut down, try and get more equity on the turn for free, if he continues just let it go.

Just to point this out, you would rarely ever have the A high flush here. Trapping rarely occurs in PLO, unless you know player tendencies. Even the nut flush is vulnerable, so your check is a weak flush, a set that was looking for a safe turn or a wrap hand. At this point you have a bluff catcher, his range can for sure include the nut or second nut here.

Calling with that hand pre vs a 3 bet can be a very tough spot IMO, even if the BB is Agro. You know he will cbetting, and yes he is 35% 3 betting, but from IP or OOP. You are most likely going to be playing for stacks at some point with this LAG tard so do you want to be putting money in on a flip or have him dominated?

Simon, I also gain more from the hand review videos but think it is great to mix these in as well. Not as in depth but get a better idea for your overall game this way.

Can you elaborate on how you label players? What colors do you use for who? Some examples of how you determine these colors? And how much value you place in them since it seems many are done based on a single play. From what I see some of the methods are yellow recreational players tend to single table and limp. Large gaps in vpip and pfr along with other fishy hud stats I assume too. Equally interested in how you determine the regs and what colors they receive

Thanks
