Also, Who in the world enjoys playing 4way pots in the first place?

I think a preflop squeeze is mandatory in this spot. We lose our range/nut advantage with a flat and lose our ability to apply pressure on several different textures. There is very few hands that you want to be cold calling in this spot, and they are hands that play particularly well post flop (pairs, suited Ax) because of your ability to make super nutted hands. KQs plays severly better heads up because when our villians ranges are capped... we can blast off a lot more on boards that favor us

Comment | elliotteal3 commented on trouble with KK

Going to have to relay the comments ^^^. 4x OOP with multiple players in pot is just not going to let you realize your equity enough even with the strongest hands.

I like the shove. We have 66, 55, 65s, 87s all in our range that can apply pressure to the unpaired parts of his range, AKs/o, AQ. I think with this specific holding it is good to maximize fold equity to force out some hands from calling like overcards with backdoor flushdraw etc. When called, we are going to see a lot of over pairs with a heart, some nut flush draws, which we all have pretty decent equity against. I like the play

You have to look at MP's entire range. 44 is not a clear defend in MP vs a BB raise, but they also have lots of draws and bluffs in their range as well. KQs/o, and most all combos of QT and KT, they also have lots of suited hands that want to XR as well like T9h. If you are folding Top top on this board, what are your calling hands? 2pair and better? This causes you to be extremely exploitable on lots of runouts

The problem is not the flop call, it is preflop. Your OOP 3b is 3.66x, when you are OOP, you want to be sizing around 4, and plus a cold caller, you want to be making it something like 30. This may disincentives the BB to overcall and gives worse odds for players to defend with less than marginal hands.
