Great thread. I suffer from social anxiety in general and that has prevented me from playing more live. Online playing anonymously i can concentrate making +ev decisions whether it is running a huge bluff or taking a trappy line with nuts. But playing live gets really overwhelming. Even playing really baby stakes with friends can make me really uncomfortable. I tremble more so when bluffing and way less when i have it. And thought process gets ruined with all sort of crappy dialogue i have with myself.

But for sure im able to overcome these problems atleast to some degree if i put my mind to it. I personally want to avoid all drugs etc and just work on changing my thought process. I think i need to learn to take playing live as a life experience that one should learn to enjoy. It shouldnt matter if im shaky and nervous at first, but to appreciate the fact im playing interesting game with other people rather than against screen names alone at home. I hope learning to appreciate the moment helps me to get rid of current dialogue with myself and help to concentrate on nice things instead. And also to accept what ever comes instead of being fixated to achieving certain things in order to feel satisfied.

I like the video concept, but i am little bit disappointed how we constructed villains range. We forgot villains flop raise bluff range which leads villain to be folding more in flop and turn than in reality. I think its safe to assume villain is raising some J+pp under 7,low double pairs and some backdoor stuff. How much villain should be bluff raising on the flop? After flop bet-call, should villain have turn shoving range?

+1. If raising should we just pot it with nut and 2nd nut flushes and add some Jd,Qd flush blockers with 2pair to go with it? Good video!

Good video as usual. In beginning  of video, how do u feel abt calling the flop w/AKJT rather than raising if we were contemplating a play here?

Can u make a series abt playing with wide ranges Btn/blinds or a theme video abt defending co open vs btn 3bet.

Cheers!

Enjoyed this video. I like that you explain your thought process about the actual hands thoroughly. And especially like that you expand to talk about overall strategy incl defending BB and limping from the button.

Hero loses less by defending wide oop than folding the bb preflop, given hero can play. Id like to hear as well when should we generate a btn limping range. I remember mr. Sulsky limping some vs isildurr1. Maybe he has some insight on this issue?

How wide villains 4bet should be so that we could start 5betting other than super premiums with some board coverage? I feel many KKxx(especially as this villain dont fold his Axxx to our 5bet), ABBB, ABBxds plays better in 4bet calling range and gives us some protection in 4bet pots that comes down Axx, since we are almost always 5betting AAxx.

So i think our 5bet range is heavily weighted towards AAxx, which i would pot-gii. So i think i could get away pot-gii my whole range.

Im not sure how weak our perceived check-call range looks now especially when villain bets so big. And if villain thinks we would ship AAxx by leadin or c/r he might deter putting more money in on turns and rivers with weak holdings.
