You talk about this WWSF stat a lot throughout the video, can you explain its importance and how you use it to guide certain decisions?

At 33:29, w/ the 33's you say that your hand is too strong of a hand to be turning into a bluff, can you explain what you meant by that?

At 22:47, with the nuts, we decide to only call our opponents re-raise on the left table. Why do we do this as opposed to just shoving in this spot? Is it because of rake back considerations, or does villain just always have an Ace here? Just curious about this spot. Thanks.

3:50; Can you walk me through your thought process here on calling the check-raise in this spot? In the video you just say that we have to call although we are not happy about it, what makes you to come that conclusion?

Can you explain what you are looking for a bit further as I might be interested? Feel free to add my on Skype at dspsp123

Also, at 45:40 Table 2, we fold AJo in the SB to EP open? Is this standard?

What goes into your decision to overcall from the blinds v three bet from the blinds? Are we more likely to be overcalling against weaker players and three-betting v tighter players? If so, what is the logic behind this?

At 35:00 when you say this is a spot where your opponent is very capped and you are very uncapped, what do you mean by that?

April 3, 2017 | 8:39 p.m.

Why do you play only displaying BB's as opposed to actual $ amounts?

Just curious. I use $ amounts when I play, so sometimes when watching your videos I have trouble making the translation to $ amounts easily.

Really great concept video! Definitely very helpful!

Out of curiosity what laptop do you primarily use to play poker? And what monitors do you have? Do you connect the laptops to the monitor and what is that set up like? Very interested to know some of the specifics of your set up, would be super helpful.

Thanks.

@25:30 - The bluff with the 44o. You said you are trying to get villain to fold K high, but I feel like he doesn't really have many K high in his range that doesn't already have you beat (Outside of maybe some combos of KJ)? We are bluffing in this spot where I feel like A high's call you, which is a large part of villain's range. Obviously some pairs can fold in this spot. But not many pairs in villains range that don't have you beat here, or that don't call the river bet. Thoughts here on including this hand in your bluff range in this spot?

Great content, thanks!

For Hand #1, When you say the MOST polarized 3-bet range what exactly does that mean? How polarized are we talking here?

For Hand #2, does this hand and whether to check raise or not also depend on how frequently he is c-betting the flop? Would there be a c-bet freq you are more likely to check raise on v not?

For many of the hands I was thinking about how villain's c-bet percentage might effect what the correct action to take is. How heavy of a consideration is this given some of your examples? Just wondering if you had any thoughts on that...

Great video! Thanks for the amazing content. Really enjoyed the analysis especially on that QQ hand v the KJ.

Feb. 8, 2017 | 7:32 p.m.

Great content, learned a lot about how to more effectively play 6-max. Thanks!

I was also wondering at 31:53 w/ the 77, why is your play determined by whether you have a diamond or not? I understand you would have a backdoor flush draw, but why does that then mean you would call the check-raise v not having the diamond and folding?

Thanks for the excellent content! I really liked this format of isolating a specific situation and doing an analysis of those hands. Also, really liked how you started off with some easier situations and then moved to the harder ones.

Hey Iain! The content was amazing, and I learned a lot throughout the session. I am really looking forward to your next set of videos! I had a few questions for you when you have the time:

  1. Just wondering if you could explain the idea of the linear range mentioned at 6:55?

  2. At 9:18 when you say that having diamonds blocks our opponents check fold range can you explain what exactly that means? I'm still confused on this point.

  3. Lastly, I had a more general question about what you think the best video or resource is available that helps students of poker to more effectively utilize their HUD stats? I know the basics of it, and use it frequently, but not sure on some of the more nuanced ways pros utilize those stats when making decisions. Any recommendations here would be super helpful (or even a video series covering it!)

One of my favorite part of the video was the point you made 12 minutes in on changing the way you play based on your opponents at the microstakes. It would be great to have video or series in the future which focuses on the biggest beginner/intermediate leaks of microstakes player (with specific examples of those mistakes), I think it would be really helpful given your knowledge on the subject. Thanks once again!

Really great content! I liked the two table format, it was very helpful and informative.

Feb. 4, 2017 | 9:27 p.m.

Really great video. Love hearing your thought process throughout the session. Thanks!

Feb. 4, 2017 | 6:53 a.m.

Watched both parts and really enjoyed the content. Thanks! I liked how you stress playing a more consistent game during the session.

One general question I had was regarding the HUD display, what is the best and easiest to understand video or resource to lean about how to effectively use your HUD while you play? I understand the basics of it, but I am trying to learn more about how to use it to play better.
Thanks for the great videos!

Really great video. Learned a lot about HU play. Thanks!

Feb. 3, 2017 | 6:57 p.m.

Great video. Really enjoyed watching. Thought the format was really great at selecting a specific, common situation and covering a range of hands from that position. Would love to see this format again in the future!

Feb. 3, 2017 | 7:50 a.m.

Really great video! Would love in the future if you explained a little more your process of labeling people, and how you decide when someone is a fish/regular, etc.?
