5 to 10 min of quick exercise and a little stretching i find is great before a session as well. it seems to really calm the mind. i also like a little music before i start just to get be pumped in the mood especially after a long day of work. some time's you really need some motivation to grind for a few hours. one last thing i like sometimes, to start with 1 table at higher stakes. It seems to help me focus on my thought process a little more because of the pressure kinda ass backwards but works for me. after about a hours or so i'l drop the table and play my usual stakes but when you always play the same stakes sometimes your just a little to comfortable and over confident which tends to lead to some early stage spewing.

poker will never be not profitable. the games are always changing styles and plays even at NLHE. poker companies especially the big companies spend millions on marketing to bring more people to the table's spend 5 min do some research. poker companies make millions off this game they will crumble and die before they let poker go away, or stop trying to get more people on there sites. poker stars is a great example of this!!. if you think that the games are not profitable or will soon not be profitable then your a FISH at all games and you just don't know it!! step your shit up or just give up playing but plz don't be a child and complain!! that the games aren't profitable.

I feel like by the turn your almost committed if you give up here in my opinion you look weak and open your self up so he can bet the river and take down the pot. if it was me making the play first i would like to have some kind of a read on the opponent knowing that he is capable of floating light on flop and turn if soo I T barrel all the way. but against someone who i have little to know info on and i have no equity in my hand to continue. I would just bet once give up save the money till a have a solid read.

Awesome video great concept. these small 3 bets have bin driving me crazy!! i have found at the lower stakes 25nl/50nl it's mostly bad players making these small 3 bets. i'v found it very profitable just out playing them on turns and rivers putting them to tougher decisions mostly with bigger bets to get there hands face up. I have started too see a lot more regs taking on this small 3 bet strategy in the last 3-5 months. obviously it's a litttle harder to out play them. this video has bin great though for at least figuring some solid 4 bet and calling ranges. Can't wait to take it to the tables!!! once again a great video love it!!

i think when your just starting out the best way to play is just one table. as you progress you can experiment with adding other tables. but if you overwhelm your self with tables it will just lead to more mistakes if your not ready.

Hi guys, I have seen a lot of zoom vids on this site i personally just play 6 max deep sometime 100bb as well i never got into zoom because i am a player who relies on patience and reads to make optimal decisions. I would like to here from other players who play zoom where the edges might be for the better players, or really just anything about zoom the might peak my interest enough to give it a shot.

Both good points i can agree with. perhaps I'm being a bit to critical. i think i just have to slow down and give the few 6 max vids another chance. I think I'm just a little tilted, i just got the elite membership i was really hoping for more 6 max and i was pretty disappointed. I might not have given the videos the chance they deserved. thanks for input guys :)

I think PT and HM are both great programs. I have personally always used PT and like it. but i have friends who love HM so it's a coin flip. I believe if you are going to take poker seriously you should use every tool you can get your hands on whether it's coaching book's and yes software. Software is a great tool just for finding the leaks in your own game and finding spots that you may be playing bad. I feel like it is a great addition to anyone's arsenal. Just be careful with HUD stats because stats are nice but i would never put to much faith in them, there best used for as another variable in your equation to take into consideration before making a play. Hey guys so i bin crushing the cash video's on the site besides the lack of 6 max, witch sucks. i also find these 6 and 9 table videos to be a bit much to try and learn. there's alot goin on and i think we as viewers are missing some good points in spots that are going undiscussed because there is another hand on the bottom right here where there's something going on. I feel 4 tables or 3 and a re-player is great. It allow 's the pros more time to go into detail with reads and spots and gives you a few more of the aa haa moments. most of the vids are all just pretty standard nothing special and reallly not a ton of detail. Is it just me that feels this way?

I would love to see Dr. Giggy (Martin Fournier Giguère's) as a RIO couch he was my favorite couch from blue fire and a sick 6 max player with a great thought process. i feel he would be an awesome addition to this team!!!! and a great addition to the lack of 6 max cash content on the sight!!!!
March 18, 2013 | 3:59 a.m.
I also feel the same way as everyone else here i would love to see more more 6 max vids. you have a ton of elite pros who i know could make some great 6max vids even if they're mostly plo regs now. Plz More 6 max!!!

I think hand was played fine here. it's tough to bet turn unless you know he is just floating you ubber light. I think against a agro player here i would smash flop almost pot. if he calls well you can narrow his range down pretty well from there and your hand as a decent amount of equity on the flop so the times you do hit your D or T you can get it in good. if you miss then easy check fold on turn.

I agree i would need some reads on the opponent. but in most cases I personally find at 50nl the small raise usually means Nut flush or jj or A6 he got ballsy with. I think if he had QQ,KK he would had raised bigger for info/Value Ak would just float here as well. So at least in the mojority of my cases in this situation my opponents range after his small raise would A6.JJ AxS. It's tough to fold aces here but you need info i would have reraised to $30. If he jams i fold still a big hit But i can be almost 90% i'm probably beat and can atleast save some money. But i could be wrong just my own opinion seems to make sense in my mind and i 'm open to suggestion on that play as well.

if anything I like 3 betting to 10.75 or so just to get more garbage to fold and to better define his range. I feel like the 7 raise is bad with QQ i get the logic you wanna build a pot in pos with your hand but there's still 5 cards come, a lot of poker to be played. a $7 raise against anyone in that exact same spot does not give me a lot of info on my opponent. if i have no reads on my op then even more reason to raise a little bigger so you can go to the flop with a better defined range. Overall though i think you played the hand very well.
