I am not a PLO expert however looks like I will limp a lot and limp raise/fold/call will be the ranges I work with instead of the standard raise/fold/call
As the number of cards goes up the edges decrease but if ppl are forced to play 70% then I think its more of a gamble unless everyone is super deep and you look at the BB as an ante. 100bb would be a gamble I guess with 6 cards and 70% VPIP

Exactly my story. I used to win decently at MTTs and then got married took a job. Came back decided to play cash instead of MTTs to have a family life.
I have spent better than 2 Years on PLO with a job on the side. last 6 months I started beating PLO micros decently. I did not study at all maybe its variance that is making me win maybe it's not.
What worked for me mostly in the last 6 months is not chasing profits and not be worried about losses since I have a job on the side.
Find a way to make some money on the side to ensure that you are learning and not being overly worried about the results when u play.
Recently I started working on my game have been active on the forums. Trying to talk here and figure out which software to use etc.

Here is another thing I have in mind. Maybe the goalkeeper is not the most glamorous position to play soccer but if your talent is at goalkeeping don't try to be anything else. Hence if I am unable to do well in PLO in another 6 months I will commit to MTTs again.

I play soft low stakes games and my biggest leak is opening ranges and 3 betting ranges what would you recommend to work on that
