Could check/folding this hand really be better than check/calling? It seems we will turn a hand worth check/calling with (once or twice more) somewhat often, we can turn additional equity with flush draws, we hold potential future blockers and can also bluff in some instances (e.g. if a flush card turns, it goes X/X and the river bricks). When only comparing check/folding vs check/calling, I think the latter seems superior. Thoughts?

Nice video!
03:15: You call an open with 5d3s. Board runs out 7s Qs 5h 3h 3c.
You check/call flop and turn -- 21/30 and 54/72 -- left with 510 stacks and 180 pot on the river.
Here you say you will check/raise.
1. What kind of hands would you be check/raise bluffing here?
2. Could this hand instead be used as a small lead, to balance your weak missed flush draws?
(The latter especially as he has bomb raised most of your small leads thus far - and has many conceivable weaker value raises and bluff raises in his range here, as well as hands that will call a small bet but check back themselves, like 7x. As is he had J7 and checked back. Also, you will likely have some very weak missed flush draws that don't really want to check?).

Don't see it as a 'moving from x to z'. It's the same thing

nice vid. think youre approach to the river spot on A63K9r is wrong though; you say you wanna avoid bluffing too much which is fair, but this hand seems like a much better river bluff than 45/XXdd hands especially given this man has just seen youre willing to vbet about as thin as is reasonable

Nice vid!
19:14 98o I can see why you are flatting, if the blinds
folds your play is def +EV.( you pay 2bb for a 5.5bb pot vs a fish IP)
If the blinds call you also in a +EV spot( you pay 2bb to
see a 6-8BB pot IP).
But if the blinds 3b
you loose money.
Don’t you think the blinds will 3b to much to make the hole
flatting play –EV. If I am in de blinds I will 3b a lot since your range and IR
are verry weak.

Im a 200NL playing looking to make the switch to PLO. Just played a few K hands and Im really looking for PLO buddies to do sweat sessions with. PM or just post here your skype info (guys that play 25PLO and higher would be preferable)
I also think this forum should have a study group/sweat session topic so small stakes PLO players can in contact, so if a mod could create a topic it would be awesome.

Hey everyone, I am currently creating a skype group. I have been in many but sometimes they can get abit big. This one in particular is specifically built to be small, max 8 people (3 slots are already filled). The intention is to all move up aggressively.
We are looking for 6max/HU players that are pretty serious grinders. Meaning 40k+ hands a month. Ideally 50NL+ although most will be playing higher.
Please message me on skype if you are intrested. Skype - StabbyMcKillyou
Thanks!
