Yeah squeez is fine to, but one of the reasons that's maybe better to call is the fact CO is probably fish... JTs is good hand to see flop against a fish IMO, especially multiway and give him chance to do som silly things POST...

Sure we do, but by calling his 3bet on flop, isnt it anoying knowing that there are so many turn cards that we have to slow the action down? Like every A, Q, J, 9, 8, forces us to turn our strong hand on the flop in a bluff catcher... So given we raise his donk and he reraises, i think we should shove
Try to get a call from KQ type of hands and draws that he will feel comitted to pay us off...
Or call his donk, ceep his range wide, let him bluff and call down in most case scenarios...

Feb. 7, 2016 | 3:07 p.m.

You only got 5 more value combos on river than villain has : JJ.and TT IF we bet those on flop.
Every semibluff (straightdraws/bckdfd) misses.
Given we have already dd with even the A high d, reduces chances of villain has got bckdfd.
He also dont have AK in his range AQ in his range and most of the time dont have AJ in his range given that he would 3 bet them pre. And we do have those missed combos.
I think allready turn is a better card for villains range then it is for ours. But picking up the extra eq. For or hand i think betting is best.
River is defintly no good card for our range given the fact that if we had decide to c-bet a Tx hand, would we barrel it? And for 2/3 size pot?arent we more inclined to check-call?
So that leaves us with a valuerange of 22,33,TT, JJ,JT....would we overbetshove AJ here?AA-QQ?imo not.
I think it s not a good spot to overbet, we got no blocker to villains TP hands and he wil be inclined to hero call here given all the draws backdoor draws that miss and the fact we hold blockers against his bckdfd..
Think its a check fold with this hand and a check call with AA-QQ and KJ+
And bluff hands like KQ no diamond.

Feb. 6, 2016 | 8:49 a.m.

Can't we shove flop here for value, if we decide to raise his donkbet?
First question: is he donking 77, and be gladd to get it in on a board where we eazly could have TT and KK, wich he doesn't have in his range most of the time? So probably not.
So Imo his range here consists out of draws for the most part QJ, Q9s, 89s, J9s..midpairs with bckdfd/str8draw... 78dd,78hh.
AJ and AQ we can determine if we know villainsn3-bets stats vs steal.Probably doesn't have a chunk of them.
KJ and KQ hands, and the sometimes slowplayed AK hands.
So given his range and given our range is so strong i would start asking my self the question, isnt it better to call his donk? Raising Turns?
And like played, if we raise and get 3-bet on flop. Shove our value combos and bluff shove draws?

Flop ($4.00) A 9 8 (3 Players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2.50, BN raises to $7.50, BB folds, Hero calls $5
I did consider 3betting the villains raise and getting all in or allot of money in on the flop but that is not really a option since we wan't to keep his bluffs and semibluffs (draws) in his range right?

Flop ($3.50) T J 3 (2 Players)
Hero checks, HJ bets $2.50, Hero raises to $7.75, HJ calls $5.25
Flop check raise is normal i think, maybe my sizing was a bit to small but i wanted to make it look like i did have some bluff/semibluffs,draws in my range so i made it a little smaller.
Turn ($19.00) T J 3 6 (2 Players)
Hero bets $11, HJ calls $11
On the turn i decided to keep the agression up and bet to keep the flush in my range while perhaps drawing to a river full house. Is this play/thinking good here?
River ($41.00) T J 3 6 K (2 Players)
Hero bets $29.75, and is all in, HJ calls $29.75, and is all in
The river also brings in a possible straight, i was thinking about either check folding here because a big part of the villains range has me beat or turning my hand into a bluff and try and let the villain fold almost everything that loses against a flush (sets, 2pairs, maybe straights, naked high diamond,...). I don't think check calling and trying to blufcatch makes sense here or would it?
Final Pot
Hero has 3 3 HJ has Q K HJ wins $98

so the agressive line is something to mix up with this line but not that necessary as i think?

River ($16.25) T A 8 4 9 (2 Players)

Final Pot
Hero has Q K Hero wins $15.52
I think i did not play this hand agressive enough, am i right or are there some advantages playing like this?

The villain is pretty tight from MP so i know i'm playing against a strong range here and i think its correct not to 3bet with my hand here? Anyway when the flop comes ace high i expect the villain to have allot of good aces in his range, normaly with my gutshot and backdoor FD i would check raise here and have allot of turns to barrel. But i was scared of the villains strong range and i did not wan't to get 3bet by the villain and not see a turn or river anymore. So i picked the passive way and check called. The turn is a great card for me, i check called again because my equity got even better and the villain seemed to bet a good size to protect his strong hand. At the river i hit the 2nd nuts and i check expecting the villain to bet thinly with his good hands so i could raise him since he can't really put me on a backdoor FD here right ( i'm not saying he is gonna call me allot of the times)?

Anyway i think this hand was played badly. It was in the end of my session and it was played way to passive. I think the flop is a check raise, turn is a great barrel card and river is a easy shove. If the flop was called like in this case then the turn is probably a check raise right? So what do you guys think, isn't it that bad of a play because after check raising perhaps getting it in would leave me playing against the top of my opponents range where i'm behind against? Or should i have been more agressive the whole hand or at least in some part of the hand? Thanks!

hello, i'm really strugling with my fold to 3bet % thats to high (around 75/80%). I'm playing 50 nl zoom and reg 6max. I really think its hard to defend against 3bets when i'm out position. i'm interesting in the 4bet fold strategy and already did some work on this. Can you guys provide me with some good learning spots from this subject what maybe helped you specifically ? Anything is good: video's,articles, good chapters in pokerbooks, good forum posts,...
It doesn't have to be only 4bet fold strategy's others that work well on my limits are also fine. Thanks!

Check-raise flop for Value is pritty standard here i think, the Valuebet on Turn imo can get value from a lot of hands like 7Xs 88 99 and Draws.

Then the river completes the Flush and one card straight. so what's the best move here cause when we check we can not check call and a check gives him the opurtunities to bluff all his worse hands. But, Betting doesn't accomplish nothing either exept let an overpair fold(AA-JJ) and we will never get called by worse, so that brings me back to checking?
