at 15:20 with KcQxTx2x on 823cc you check/fold in a HU pot. Seems like a close spot with having Kc. I feel like I have seen you almost always call there in the past.

Dumb question, is this an American site, if so which one?

at 36:00, you said yourself you were unsure, but it seems really too thin. I think KJ is way to easy for him to have along with J9 and set combos.

I feel like a ton of verves bluffing range in that hand above (3s 5h Kh As) on the turn is mid spades hands that can't call a bet. Makes the river lead very dicey imo.

at 9:20 with the double suited kings, thoughts on squeezing?
June 9, 2014 | 9:54 p.m.
I don't think the AQo fold is really easy. Seems close and I wouldn't fold AQs. Would like to see some Math on that.

the 20bb open shove, 3 bet call w 55 v your ep open etc are all most likely b/c its a super knockout, which you didn't really mention (at least in first 20 mins). You have an amazing overlay when you cover people early in the tourney.

You mention that your making money from the SB by just flatting with hands like 54s and T8s v button opens. Does that account for the times you get squeezed? It feels like those hands would be better served in your 3 bet bluffing range (well maybe not all of them, but some of them) In aggro games where the BB squeezes a lot.

Im not sure on the math of this, but I feel like you have such a big edge in the tournament itself that you shouldn't basically be willing to get it in so light for a small edge for the bounty
April 3, 2014 | 11:12 p.m.
As Denis said, can you talk more about the bounty stuff. Seems like your forcing it way too much with weak hands. I.e. the 64s hand.

was quite surprised at the Q6 hand. I think Its a little thin v Ozzy. Its not like you have an overaggro image. Just seems like hes almost only going to call with Aces up or better.

on the QQ bet call in Q64A5. I was surprised you bet/called with zero blockers, make Bullitos bluff quite bad. Infact against a player of Bulliots caliber it doesn't seem like a bet at all.

curious about the short stack spot at :37 facing a 3 bet. Phil folded and I usually fold there, but Jeans said it was a very easy call so im curious. Is this a specific call v that player Jeans or all shortstackers?
March 18, 2014 | 8:27 a.m.
Hey Phil great video... at 13:40 with K762 on KQ42sss you say you probably can't check raise if you hit a boat. Seems like like a 2 on the river would be a mandatory c/r and K river would be a little closer.

I think Phil prob usually opens this hand, but was just auto piloting a little b/c he was caught up in a few other hands and talking--thats just my guess. I mean he did open J965sss in the CO at the same time so i'd assume he would open that :)

cool video though, I like the live format
Oct. 22, 2013 | 4:44 a.m.
I think the 8763sss hand would be a good candidate to c/c. A super tricky player like Odd he can turn his 5 high straights, or even 6 high straights and sets/2pair into bluffs (if checked too) as he can credibly rep a flush. And with you having 3 spades in your hand and blocking basically all of the small flush combos, it seems like hes going to have a hard time to call with worse.

fwiw AAA5 is a dog to basically every double suited rundown. A 3 bet still seems correct though.

good video
a) Dont see how a 5bb OOP 3 bet is "big" (AQo hand v co open)--I am sorta out of the game though
b) the A9o (that you did fold) hand seems like a clear ICM fold without a massive read
c) think you should call the flop with KQs on AT5, I dont really think its a float either, straight value with nut outs. I think a lot of weak Ax will check the flop as well.
