I usually check my AA on this type of paired board, so I do so w/ overcards as well. If I'm called on turn I often give up on river, esp when flush hits (i could be wrong).
Side note: if rake is really $.80 on an $11 pot, you should find another place to play unless you are printing money on this site.

He could have turned 444/JJ (3 combos), or rivered JJJ/KK (2 combos). He might have flopped JJJ/TT (6 combos) or TTT/JJ (3 combos). 14 combos FH you beat, to 1 combo quads. (Not to mention the 16 combos of nut straights he could have lost his mind with (unlikely but possible). Call. You will win more often than you lose.
Most players would bet one of the boats on turn, so you can discount 1/2 or more of these combos and most of the straight combos. You only need 2 combos you beat to print $, so the JJJ/KK alone justify the call. (2 jacks unaccounted for and 1 king = 2 combos),

You bet so small on Turn, you gave broadway wraps correct odds to draw and the pot was so big vs villains stacks you should have focused on winning it. Even in holdem Doyle says not to slow play flopped set w/ AA bc there will always be straight draws. When pot is big win it, don't get greedy going for everyone's stack. With 2 opponents any flush card is likely to give 1 a fd and the other a str8 draw.

30 BIs is HUGE! $600? You def know how to play. Check out "The Mental Game of Poker: Proven Strategies for Improving Tilt Control" by Jared Tendler.
Rick Bennet wrote: "The best poker I've ever played has always entailed peace... and when you've gained that view, that peace-when you'd rather have the truth, no matter how disappointing, over a false hope, no matter how desirable-then you're a player." You gotta be at peace to make those big folds. When ur at peace u know he has it & don't need to pay to see it.

what site doesn't give you HH? Could it be that discussing tilt here helped your game? Seems so. We all have the issue and I think the lowest stakes are very frustrating b/c high rake makes it difficult to win. Low stakes also have weird mix of grinder/reg/good players and bluffers so it's tempting to call big bets. The videos here available for $10/month are great for learning hand reading and are the best deal i've found. It's only 1/2 buy-in! Most of the time when they bet big on the river they have it, but did they bet, bet , bet or make a huge river bet on the river when draws missed? Keep posting and find someone you can go over hands with. Any time a big hand arises, sit out and write it down. Post it or talk it over with someone. Timing tells are pretty reliable in micros: quick river big bet often indicates strength (villain making it look bluffy). Just fold if not sure, write down hand and discuss it.
