taaazzz,
To me it seems that you are very intense about your game. To piggy bank on what mightyjim said, I would advise that you get some other interests and get a well rounded life. Join a gym where you go 4-5 times a week, get a girlfriend, a good social circle and find some interests. The reason I suggest this is that then poker shouldn't come to be everything. When you put all your eggs in one basket and it breaks it becomes a tragedy and when there is no one to lean on its even more frustrating..
Many of the best poker players devote time to other interests to keep them sane. You will burn out and if you have no where else to go or nothing else to do then what? Its essential that you have something which can take your mind off and which u can be passionate about doing while taking a break from poker.
Just like when your rich, you have multiple sources of income, to be successfull at poker i believe you need multiple sources of outlet. Don't just take a break. Go see a football match, go out on a date with a girl u haven't seen in ages. Its summer go out to a lake for a weekend. I guarantee if you find an outlet that will make you LOVE LIFE. There is no way you don't come back and crush.
To be healthy individuals we all need releases, and I advise you to find yours.

We are last to act. and I think its too weak not to bet any of the streets, cause we could always be getting value from worse.

Thank you for this inspirational post! Your videos and they way you are able to communicate your thought process is one of the main reasons I keep my elite membership. You have a very fundamentally sound game and I guess that's why your thoughts come across so crisp in your videos.. I am very appreciative that a measly 100$ a month can buy such wealth of information and that you chose to share it.
Good Luck to you in the future.

Hate folding 2.

You have to work on your bet sizing,.
Your over bet shoves are only getting called by better and folding out worse. You need to give opponents a chance to make mistakes and build pots appropriately.

snonk: This is a fairly recent NJ network run by 888 poker that doesn't allow for huds, however with some changes in the HH after the session I am able to import hands into HEM2. At the time I basically had the player pegged as rather nitty and solid ( with no stats that could influence decision ) since he was multi-tabling and had some decent stacks across a few tables.

The reason I posted this hand is that after I saw the hand play out I realized that I was losing the hand no matter what. Turn Call. The river came down an Qc and the river went c/c. The villain showed up with 109cc.
I guess his reason for checking here is that his hand becomes too strong to continue bluffing with and now has show down value. But should the river blank and the villain chose to fire a third bullet, I still don't think I am calling a huge bet. Even-though I can't say that what his plan was for the river, I am sure there was little chance I was going to find a call to a large bet.
This is my worst nightmare getting hands where after I review them I believe that no matter what card comes or the strength of hand vs. villain, due to the pattern of betting and range representation by villain I never win the hand.
It's just a nasty spot I am trying not to get into often and when I do to have a game plan.

Guys thanks for the solid advice.
I will take your advice and will try to begin posting HH's of hands that give me the most trouble. Also try and give opinion about hands other people might be having troubles with.
Raulrus I am so twitter illiterate.. Would you perhaps expand the ways you went about establishing a twitter following?

I would also be interested in joining play anywhere from 50 - 200nl on 888 in New Jersey where poker just became legal and am looking to discuss poker with other players while improving on strategy and the mental sides of poker.

Getting back into online- poker again takes time. Building confidence in the process takes time. In live poker I consider my self confident. I've played live for the past year and a half. I know my weekly schedule for example. I know the players and I have a year and a half of experience to know based on my result tracking and based on these results I am fully aware that I crush the games. Even when things go wrong I feel confident, I have players coming up to me letting me know that I am the best in the game and just to play my game. I get people saying things like "I have no doubt you'll be crushing this game shortly". and "You are the reason this game is dying". I can talk hands with other winning players on text and phone to discuss hands and get reads on other players. There is a community there and someone to always call that can discuss every situation and vibe of the game.
Online is a different animal for me. NJ just legalized online poker very recently, and while my bankroll is growing, I find it harder to deal with swings. For one there is no one to discuss hands with. Posting hands in forums definitely is a viable option, but for some reason it feels impersonal. It sometimes is hard to deduce who is giving great advice and who isn't. Sure one can explain a thought process but is it necessarily the best writer that gives the best advice? Ideally it would be nice to get a close nit community of friends who are improving and trust worthy, but how? Lately I have also looked at 2+2 forum for coaches and even had an exchange with a coach. But It seems that there is a shortage of coaches since Black Friday. The one coach I actually contacted about coaching stressed that they where over capacity with students. Right now I am just left to navigate the waters my self ( Playing and watching videos ). I am much better and its easier for me in a community. I love talking poker and growing as a player online seems very limited to me right now and not as much fun. Perhaps some one could share some advice how they have grown as players to build a strong friendship base and interaction so they can sail the sometimes turbulent waters of online poker not in a boat with an oar but on a party yacht.?

Hey guys,
In an attempt to discuss more strategy and help improve my game I would like to post an interesting hand from a live PLO game that I play in at a Cigar club. The game is 1/2 PLO with a bring in of 5$. The game starts out as a NLHE game and when the player pool shrinks., it changes to PLO. Which usually involves deep stack PLO with short stacks trying to make a comeback.
PF.
SB
BB ($750)
XX
CT ($219)
Hero ($1200) As Qc Jh 10h
Sb $1, BB $2, XX calls $5, CT calls $5, Hero raises $20 .. Sb Folds, BB Calls, XX Folds, CT Calls, ((Pot = 66$))
The Cutoff is a recreational player who's range usually includes I would say top 70% of hands in this situation. He is liable to turn many hands into bluffs and I've been isolating him quiet often as of late.
The BB is a thinking player who is the best player in this game. Thinking player. His biggest leak though is that he tends to pay off too much on rivers, and can shove any two when below 50BB just so he can rebuy to 300. Likes to gamble it up when short.
Flop. Jc 10c 5s
BB checks, CT bets $60, Hero raises $160, BB tank calls $160, CT calls 160$.
((Pot = $546))
I flop top two with a redraw to the nut broadway. My bet here is to ideally get it in with the Cutoff. I unexpectedly get called by the BB player which instantly makes my radar go off. Obviously putting him on draws here. (Mostly good FD with some straight draw gappers or open ended) and slightly discounted set of 5's.
Turn. 7s
BB checks, CT goes All-in for $39, Hero call $39, BB call $39
((Pot = $663))
Once the cutoff shoves here, the BB player gives a disgusted look like whatever. I tanked here for a while. The problem is just by calling I feel like I get my self in a sick spot here. I hate to cap my range here and open my self to sick spots if BB tries to put me in a cage. ((Whats the play here?))..
River. 2h
BB checks, Hero bets $150, BB calls $150
BB checks. My thinking is that if Cutoff has 89 here. I need to get some value on my hand from BB who has paid of rivers before. ((What do you think of the bet here ? ))
I'm thinking like the blog section on deucescracked?
