Hello , y'all! I have been wondering what are my enemies on the tables using in their HUDs in MTT formats. I got HM2 in the beginning of the year and have stuck to the HUD i made the first day. What are the concepts behind your HUD design? Stakes, MTT speed, how big the field is?
Here is what I use for everything, please share ideas and opinions.
Hands/ Vpip / Pfr / steal / fold to steal
flopCbet / FoldFlopCbet / 3bet / foldVs3bet / Limp
I was looking for stats that generally show you tendencies at first glance, because 6+ tables open at the same time kind of excludes the proper use of more than 2 lines of stats. Or at least I am not used to (yet?).
Thank you in advance and good luck.

I intended to focus on the prospect of shoving light at such stage in that kind of tournaments. Big stack matters, busting in ~200th place is not that much different than busting in 30th. I 100% agree with your opinions, but I realized I wasn't initially asking the right question.
For some time now I am trying hard to design the best (suited to my POV) conceptual MTT strategy regardless of the stakes. If you can recall any articles or posts, please share.
I have watched a lot of high stakes MTT on PS and I must say sometimes the wrong is right.
Some players are very successful and seem to intentionally play disadvantageous ranges. I am hungry for knowledge and advice.
Off topic : The Christmas Sunday Million special was won by TrondheimAAA - I have never seen a guy run so good in this type of once in a lifetime (from my POV) tournament. I recall twice he had AA (very late , maybe 30 left) in the BB and there was allin+call in front of him. Both times he won. Sometimes the game just flows your way.

You're getting called by AK and maybe AQ + ideally 88 and only better pairs. This sums up to a range of roughly 5% of all hands. Therefore shoving is going to be the right play and the most profitable one if you get called by worse. If you raise fold UTG this is going to be noticed and probably exploited with marginal hands- the likes of 33, 44. Picking up the pot is also a good enough scenario.
This is my logical thinking , I don't pretend to know, you should also consider who are you playing and how much it is worth folding if you later manage to make a payjump.

More poker - 45 to 90 non turbo
Better potential profit 180 3.50+rebuy and multiple Turbos
Lets clarify : Whenever you look to play tournament poker and have a feeling you're on your A game and want to test yourself in a less luck bound game - I think 45 to 90 ppl non turbo SNGs provide this environment. The glaring downside is the money isn't that good and often you would feel like you've wasted your time mincashing after a flip.
180 Turbos : The most prize pool is accumulated in the 3.50 + Rebuy SNG (Pokerstars) and from my own observations it is running 24/7 (Some other SNGs are not attracting the needed number of players for a long time in the weak hours). The 180 ppl Turbos are the way to go if you feel lucky and want to get the best ROI . 3.50 + R is often worth 500$+ for 1st.
I'd suggest you mix it up depending on your mood. The smaller the playing field , the better info you're going to be getting in your HUD, which potentially eases your decisions and empowers your game. (if you use a HUD). Although there are plenty of "regs"in the 3.50+R and the other 180 ppl SNGs, they are much more popular and you will often play against some opponents for the 1st time.

Suited A, suited broadways, any pair really. I'd rather limp/call than raise myself (the potential reraise makes it expensive for weak holdings). Overall I think the better option is to fold all but premiums in EP and MP @ the first levels and stab in late position with the hands mentioned above.
Personally whenever I play such games I always look for a flipping situation for early double up. There are pros and cons with this strategy but I feel much more comfortable with 2x stack early in the game. In example : Direct shoving AQ , 55+ , shoving OT of raisers , looking to get maximum action.

@ Raphael , I do know I should usually fold this but I was wondering if it's a somewhat justified shove given the possible big double up if I think I am flipping or just 40% underdog against his range. Anyway I read the MTT Variance thread - amazing stuff. Also , you stand out with expert replies - (thumbs up) .

@BigFishzh , I really shouln't have posted it here. I can't find how to move it myself, did you mean to post a new thread there?

First off, hello yáll RunItOnce members, this is my first post and I'm very glad being part of this amazing website. I truly believe group thinking is the way to go for poker nowadays as P.G. himself mentioned in one of his old videos. Therefore this community empowers our game.
Now straight to the hand.
Situation: 16,50$ Turbo MTT on Pokerstars. I am 65/200 with 50k stack , blinds 1.5k/3k .
Hero UTG with KJ of hearts - raises 7.500. MP Villain shoves 70k stack on top, action folded to Hero.
Info : In the previous orbit I doubled up through the same villain , who called my 22k shove with QJ and with ~80k stack, I had AQ (?!).
What happened: I shoved all in my 50k stack with KJs and got called by A10 and A high was good in the end so I bust out of the tournament.
Thoughts: When the villain shoved over me my thinking process was something like the following:
1. I might not be dominated, AK , AJ, KQ , JJ , QQ , KK , AA - that is what I fear the most. AA KK and probably QQ aren't that possible, I think he would have reraised me.
2. He is the guy who CALLED my all in with QJ, I can be flipping a very decent percent of the time.
3. If I double up here , I am in a much better position in the big picture.
What I want to discuss, ask:
I feel somewhat ok, even happy with my shove against that particular opponent because the potential double up would have given me a very powerful position relative to the ~45k stack if I had folded. Additionally the dynamic with this player suggested me that I was flipping or just 1,5:1 underdog, which of course is not what we want, but in a Turbo for full double up and at the insignificant mid game stage- why not?
Contrasting view:
UTG Raise with KJ ?
CALLING OFF A SHOVE WITH KJ, after showing strength with the UTG raise? (This implies the villain is not messing around and has a hand very likely better than mine, wanted to explain myself, I know you got it anyway :) )
Trying to convince myself UTG raise and all in call with KJs is OK?
Some other probably (ir)relevant info:
No HUD, probably anxious and tilted from action on other tables / this was my last game I was in.
Thank you in advance for the opinions, I'd also like to know what are your thoughts on how some people are much more successful in MTT that others, I know they are more skilled than me for example , but in which aspect of the game.
Thank you for your time and good luck!
From what I've seen observing it, there can't be any strategy given the extremely high showdown percentage. Luck wins it, not even remotely skill.
Maybe a little bit of fold equity pressure against non regs.
