Alix Martin

I'm a 43 years old poker player from Valbonne, in the south of France.

I graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and had a career as a Telecom Engineer. I am the holder of two U.S. patents.

I also had a go at quantitative finance, during which I was associated with Victor Niederhoffer.

I have now turned the use of the scientific method to the field of poker.

I have played since the start of online poker, and have at least tried out most forms of the game. I currently play on French sites, mostly PLO.

My theoretical work on poker models has caught the attention of Phil Galfond, who hired me to do videos for BlueFirePoker. I also did some French language videos for PokerStrategy.
