Hi guys, posting another hand here for review. https://www.boomplayer.com/27936471_C1F7C3835B What should our turnplan be? We block full houses but at the same time I don't think he is checkraising flushes, especially when we hold the nutflush.. If we're up against KK or 7T OR K7 we're crushed if we don't spike otr. Is this a solid standard fold or do we check back turn and re evaluate otr? Thanks for your time in advance.
Cheers!

Hey Nick so these hands are quite confusing to me. At the 13 min mark of your video you decide to bet both of your wraps on both flops multiway, so from what I have learned on RIO (correct me if I'm wrong) We should be cautious when we have a wrap on a flushdraw board if we don't have a flush ourselves. On the right table I can understand we want to get it in against the shorter stacks but what are your thoughts about checking with a wrap on flushdraw boards in general?
Btw, great video once again. Enjoying em!

I guess pre this is a fine call? BB is fish and our hand will play fine multiway. Correct me if I'm wrong ^^
We are crushed by aces so I figured I don't want to get it in right now but we wont fold aswell. turn his sizing kind of looked weak to me and I think he is just shoving all sets and 2 pairs there (I obv realize we block aces and 2pairs)
Is this hand just standard and cooler if he happens to have aces?
Thanks in advance :)

Hi Phil not sure how I look that up in PT4, never really did that. Anyways, I cant stop myself from grinding, I love the game and have always told me to work hard and grind a lot in order to become better. We played over 3k hands today after school and ended up $9 with a winrate of 13.95 all in adj so that felt pretty good! I already feel I'm improving everyday by watching video's and getting feedback on my hands, I appreciate that :)
We're slowly but surely climbing out of our downswing and PLO5 is just around the corner again.. Last night I saw a topic in the forum section about PLOmatrix, never heard of! I got a trial now and have tagged some hands from my session, I will be putting them in the machine tomorrow before I grind. From my point of view it looks a lot like HRC back when I was grinding tournaments, and I loved to work with HRC. Time for some relaxation now and watch some series.
Cheers everyone!

Both you guys thanks, that helped a lot. In game was not sure what to do but thought checking back turn was best. I have 1 more question, if turn is an offsuit 2 for example do we start delayed cbetting or do we just take showdown value and realize our equity
Cheers!

Is folding preflop not just way to tight?

Hi guys, some of you will recognize my name some will not.
My name is Jordy and I have been playing fulltime poker for the last 2 and a half years in NLHE mtt's/cash. About half a year ago I got into a kind of ''heavy'' depression and figured it would make sense to quit poker at that point as mtt's we're giving hell of a lot stress if your downswinging. Right now I'm in the ''healing process'' and things are looking a lot better already. This gave me a chance to try and learn something I have always wanted to learn and that is the great game of PLO! In NLHE or basically any game I play I play to win, there is no second or third place. If I play something I get good at it or I quit, ofcourse I will never stop poker but you get the point if I get totally crushed and have to keep on depositing. I will take you through my journey which will hopefully bring me up to PLO50, to be fair I think I can make that. I went from $1 abi 2 years ago to playing sunday millions and almost all midstakes tourneys. Now I'm looking to get that drive and hard work again and put it into PLO. So far I have already grinded 75k hands at PLO2 and doing ''okay'' so far.
I started off really good with a winrate of around 6 allin adjbb/100 but right now it has fallen back to 2. I've made some stupid plays recently (Typical transitioning mistakes like thinking every AA is a 4bet pre and stuff) and not being focussed at all. Honestly I find it difficult to transition to PLO, I never thought it would be this hard as I was always a quick learner weather its on school or in poker. I will be updating this blog regularly and try to take every piece of advice I can get. I watched like 5 videos since I got my RIO subscription on the 15th if I remember correctly but looking to study way more. I'm opening this blog as I think it will make it easier for me to achieve those goals, besides that who doesn't like to show off his $70 in winnings on PLO2!
Goals for Junee
Play atleast 50k hands
**Achieve a winrate of 5 Allinadjbb/100
Try and move up to PLO5
Watch a RIO video everytime before we grind, post notes in your blog to perhaps get feedback from other more experienced players
Post atleast 1 hand a day on the forums
Cheers!

Thanks Nick your thought process really helped me there!
I was not sure what to do in game but once again its proven there is not always one way to play a hand :)

Thanks :)

Hi guys, former fulltime NLHE player here just transitioning to PLO. Have played 50k hands so far and am a little bit on PLO2. As I was always busy with getting better at NLHE I'm looking to do the same in PLO now. If there is a skype group looking for a serious guy willing to commit and learn hit me up. Otherwise, I will make a study group myself and try to get some people in who are actively looking to get better. https://join.skype.com/mPCC7jsSmy7q Here is the link, hope to see some of you guys around ;)

Hey Nick, awesome video man really doing a great job. I'm just turning in into PLO after playing mtt's fulltime for 2 years. You're telling us that we should be 3betting 8765ds against utg open if we're in the CO as we want that hand HU. What do we do if we're in the BB and UTG opens and no one flats, do we just defend or do we still 3bet OOP?
Cheers

Sounds like great stuff in here.
Actually thinking about it right now I like checking on the turn as its likely (maybe 5nl fish will proceed) that they wont proceed with worse flushes and only fullhouses? Idk, not so sure yet in these spots as this Is only my first time I got in this spot in 90k hands sample.
