Great vid Mark, this is one of the best series on RIO. Would love to have OOP vs Cold Caller.

10:10 - AQo vs AA Chance bustout - BTN vs SB (us, AA) 3-bet, 55 bb deep - thoughts on if you're the BTN just 4-bet ripping it pre vs SB 3-bet. I think the solvers do this from these positions at these stack depths. There's some merit to not going AI if villain has been playing tight/passive, but vs aggro reg I think I'm just closing my eyes and shoving with something like AK/AQ, QQ-88, A5s-A2s (this part of range may be unnecessary). Would you be less likely to get your stack in given the tournament situation (think there's 22 left, soft field)?

Maybe it blocks some of villain's backdoor flush draw floats that will snap fold to turn c-bet?

I haven't run this exact spot but have done similar and overall it responds how you'd expect. After a certain point of IP underfolding, OOP just 3-bets less overall, "bluffs" 0 (no 76s/K9s/A5s stuff) and starts to expand value range. If IP is slightly underfolding we only make small adjustment of cutting down frequency of bluffs.

Nice video, fun topic.

One of the pervasive cognitive biases in poker is the Dunning Kruger effect: "people mistakenly assess their cognitive ability as greater than it is. It is related to the cognitive bias of illusory superiority and comes from the inability of people to recognize their lack of ability." -Wiki Dunning Kruger

Enjoyed the video. Really like this format and I think you convey your thought process really well. There are lots of FT replays of Stars FT's available and I would like to see more analysis in this format.

Our strategy should be based on effective stacks. So if we have 50bb OTB and both blinds are 15bb just play whatever strat as if you had 15bb.

In the 13-15bb range there is some room to limp or minraise. So OTB with those stacks I often would do either with top of my range (88+, ATs+, AKo, KQs) and then a few weak hands outside my shoving range. If you're at 15bb you're not priced in to auto-call a shove with something weak. 12bb or less effective should prob just play shove or fold.

In the middle of the video, you inspired me to start using OneNote and taking notes. Very often I find myself passively watching videos, nodding along, but then not really absorbing or implementing the content. I think actively watching and taking notes is a must.

Overall great video Ryan and I'm looking forward to your future content.
