Looking for a plo coach for 25/.50 plo and 50/1 plo 6 max. ( i have only been playing 50plo as of now, but looking to move up if I can take that next step)
Currently winning around 1.5-2 bb/100 over 150k hands (depending on what site), but looking for guidance/identifying on areas i need to improve.
open to new ideas from my normal grind and new use of software etc.
any help is appreciated a lot.
thanks :)

Turn A J Q d s s 3 d pot (£95)
HERO checks, Villian pots
Hero call
river A J Q d s s 3d 3c ( pot £285 )
I check
Villain bets £150.
Hero.?????????
* dont know anything about villain. He is quite new to our game, but defo looks like he is going to be one of the better players.*
I dont know if he would have bet K10 on this river/ if he should. Having the A spades plays a huge factor in this for the nut spade blocker.
I dont think we are deep enough to check raise and turn our hand into a bluff. I thought it xould be a KK xx hand. I block AA and JJ ( JJ is unlikely though..
turn and/or river?

* first time playing with villain, but I have been told he is quite good - only two hours into the session and he seems good. Nothing to really note in terms of confirming he is very good or not. Doesnt seem to make many mistakes*
Whale has been calling 1/2 stack with Q4 suited and stuff when he is 100 bb deep.
Flop comes A 7 10 c c h.
BB villain bets £75 ( pot is £105)
UTG f+1 folds.
Hero ??
Pre- I thought both options were ok( calling as whale can have a terrible hand & can just gift us money )
as my hand is miles ahead of whale, i could create a scenario where i get hero to fold a better hand and whale to stack off.
On the flop, i thought his bet was slightly big at the time, but now it looks ok and he could just bet like 1/2 and get it in turn.
When we flop top pair and "Good vil" c bets to this size can we just fold top pair ? I know we are bluff catching and dont beat any value range.
I could be wrong, but folding pre seems bad given the factors above.

Great series Phil. A quick thought/ bit of feedback. Content seems to be heavily weighted towards lots of NLHE tournament,50-500 zoom and reviews. I think more plo zoom 50-500 videos would be great, especially live sessions and core fundamentals/skills needed to be a particular level. Keep up the good work mate

Hero (£25) 3 bets to £1.00 KhKd
SB fold
BB fold.

Villain checks
HEro bets £1.20
Villain calls
Q6643xxccx £4.35
Villain checks
Hero bets £2.20
Villain raises ALL IN for £7.80
few things to note what i was thinking : I think this is one of the best flops to check. It's really hard for us to get 3 streets, but we can get 2 streets in some cases. Checking the flop also allows villain to fire turns and/or rivers as it looks like we don't like the flop.
Villain is quite bad, i'm not sure if he is good enough to bluff here., i also don't think he would of checked the turn with his value hands.
thoughts.............?

Annoying spot, looks like bb has range adv here and if we don't make our hand then we are probably not able to bluff because these types of villains never fold river when we play it this way. I think we can call though, given we have 4+9. Possible that he has a 2 pair hand that is protecting, and we have 4 more board pairing outs to give us kings up as well as 2x KK

^^^ i like flop bet also, but turn is check/fold for me too.

Mandatory straddle, fairly loose passive players. The 3 better on the BTN is quite good with a decent understanding of the game.
MP Limps £2 (£600)
HJ limps £2 (£700)
HERO CO raises to £10 with AcKsQcQd (£250)
BTN 3 bets to £35 (£400)

BB folds
Straddle folds

HJ Calls

notes and thoughts:
Firstly, as mentioned... the 3 better is decent and capable of doing this lighter than usual. Most other players are quite weak and passive so he probably belives he can just win by c betting most flops and continuing with further aggression. MP is stuck about £700 and is tilty AF. HJ plays plo like they play nlhe. I believe that HJ and MP never have AAxx after they elect to flat the 3 bet I have an A blocker and also a K blocker, but i think they will be folding KKxx and if they have like a KKJQ or double S KKxx then they would have 4 bet. ( i think they probably just raise instead of limping aswell ) I can pot now for like £160 with so much dead money to try and win the free £110 in the pot and i leave myself like 1/4 pot back. 3 betting villain can have a AAxx , but he isn't tight by any stretch.
what are the thoughts of 4 bet potting for value opposing to calling ?/ is there anything you would have done differently in this hand
cheers

Good video mate. Easy to keep up with and good in depth explanations.
Couple of questions; With the 106 hand @08:00... do you not think we beat over 25% of his range here? I assume he is barrelling all DD Jx and Kx. I did a rough range of what he could have and maybe I was a bit bias, but it looks like we have ~55% vs his betting range. Do you fold purely because of villains sizing ?
19:00 - what are you doing in this spot with 99-JJ.?
looking forward to seeing more (Y)

Hi mate,
I've noticed some people like to open 2.1x and still see some people opening 3x pre, is there any specific reasoning to why people go bigger/smaller? I find myself copying what others are doing, but I don't quite understand why. Similarly, it seems that most people nowadays are c betting 25%-33% pot , but then seem to size upto like 80% on most turns... is there a simple answer to this ?
Cheers
Enjoying this series mate. Nice work.
