Hello,
I just watched the "Playing OOP as PFA" and i have a question about the X/RR part.
If I understand correctly we use X/RR to balance our checking range, which means we can take some of our best hands and check them with the intention of reraising. For me this part makes sense, but it also doesn't. For example the video says to X/RR sets, but why would we check sets when there is a chance, that our opponent checks back to us, which makes us lose value?
I guess my question is: When is the correct time to X/RR and when do we want to bet? I guess we dont want to X/RR all of our sets, so do we X/RR with sets only on non-dynamic boards when we don't really care what the turn could be when he checks back? And on dynamic/wet flops we always bet our sets?
And another question about the balancing of ranges in general. I'm still playing micro/low stakes and is it really important for us to do the balancing in these stakes? For example wouldn't it be good to bet/bet/bet all of our sets/top two/overpairs since so many players in these stakes like to call you down when they connect with the board?
Hopefully my questions make sense, and thanks in advance!
could you email me the pdfs aswell?
