If villain has nut flush draw, he likely checkraises the flop. Since he calls, he probably either has a decent flush draw or he's floating out-of-position to try to take this away from you. His check on the turn confirms this since a bet from you as a tight player likely means a made flush, but a check from you likely means he can steal on the river.

If this were me, I think I check the flop behind since; a] it takes away his ability to check-raise, b] it disguises my made hand for future streets. I then pray that a diamond doesn't hit the turn. If it does, as it did, I'm done with the hand if he bets out on the turn, but am likely hoping for a check-down otherwise. If a diamond does not come, then a $32K bet protects against giving him odds to draw to the flush on the river and increases my chances of taking down the pot before showdown.

Post | Tigsman posted in MTT: TAG vs Nit
When does a TAG become a Nit? Is it a matter of personality (whether you like the person or not)? I ask because there seem to be mature conversations about the value, variance, ROI, etc of playing TAG, whereas being labeled a Nit is like being called a leper. What gives?

Being this is first hand at final table, I think I'd open with a raise a little larger than usual, maybe 3.25-3.33 the BB with the intention to fold the table. If I get 3-bet, I'm done with the hand and my relative stack size has changed little. If this was further into the final table, I use the same strategy as above if the table has been tight and I've been somewhat nitty. If the table is loose and/or I have been active then I likely fold pre and look for a more comfortable position/spot.
