i was quite active for a few hands, reg who recently joined is good and will pick up on things like that.
740 deep eff. fullring
pre: i open AQdd in HJ, he 3b 55 on BU, i figured he will be a bit liter so i expand my valuerange for one hand: AQs, so i 4b 150 he calls (call off ai was planned with pain in the stomach but nevertheless^^)
Flop: Qh2h5s, i bet 175 he calls
Turn: Kd, i check he checks
River: Kh, i jam 415 he tanks and folds
There are a shit ton of assumptions one could make on each street and i'm very curious to hear what you think.

6handed live game
pre: it is straddled by funplayer, i get AQhh, raise 60, SB 3b 220 (he 3b and sqzes me 3 times in less than an hour), SB 1250 deep i cover, i call.
flop: Q33rb one heart, he bets 130, i call
turn: 5h, he bets 500 leaving awkwardish 400 behind
Question now: jam it in now or only call? PIO liked my call ingame, but i thought jam is probably better in a nongto livegame, because he is now priced in with his XXhh and maybe even feel committed with AK

I played this year mostly livepoker and did very well and im trying to play higher.
My problem is sometimes when i get into a big pot and i'm about to bluff because i think it would be the play in that spot my heart is just pumping like really fast and i cannot control it. The funny thing is sometimes it is like that and sometimes not. And also when i have big hand and make a valuebet my heart is pumping really fast sometimes too and sometimes not^^...so my heartbeat is actually balanced...i know sounds ridiculous, but that keeps me from getting exploited by that.
So at times i feel like i cannot go for the bluff because my nervousness seems visible to others and keeps me from playing my game. Of course i try to cover my neck and stuff and do my best to hide all emotions etc.
Do you have any tipp for me? For calming my mind and body? A good liveplayer told me he tried to exploit this but failed because my heart was pumping when i had it and when i didn't and told me i shouldn't worry too much about it. But when i play with new players i think it makes them more callhappy...

Thank you both, you made some good points. Not playing after losingsession is obviously a solution. I think i kind of lost my goals for online and i shouldn't ignore that.

hey guys,
most of this year i played 2/4 live no limit holdem with very good results, decent five figure score and i start playing 5/10 live which is a little bit more difficult (but still ridic easy compared to online) and my swings are quite big.
Online i play most of the time nl100 6max zoom. Now my problem is, when i played some 2/4 or 5/10 and lost like something between 300-1k i have serious trouble bringing my A-game to the zoom tables. I think i still want to play them to keep my game sharp. (like my source of edge over the live field^^)
How do you guys motivate yourself to play your best, i feel sometimes i am not even trying hard enough which is always a bad thing since these game are thougher than they used to be.
Happy to hear some thoughts and tipps,
Cheers,

I also play a lot live lately 5/10 and i think limping full range on the sb/bb/utg is way better to execute than to raise and get two callers playing big pots oop w/ a bad spr.
I don't get why you would consider 33-55 decent limp/raising hands when you easily just could call for set value in most spots. In fact my tables are so soft that i probably ony limp/3b QQ+,AK, (AQs sometimes) and call/fold everything else. If your tables are quite though i think adding some KQo/9Ts as bluffs works fine, but i couldn't do it, because i will get called way too often.
I think button straddle can be a decent play, if there is a huge fish in the blinds, since a lot of players can get involved in the hand and you can play your button just perfectly. (im not too sure about buttonstraddling in general how too think about our ev there, but it juices up the action which can be very good)

yes i agree, but at the same time calling of with Ax,Kx seems pretty though. I think for a default bet turn seems better since the board favors my range...just the questions which river i should bomb, any heart, any club?

Is it an option to check/call? Or would you bet/call and then decide on his sizing and turn if we call down or not?

Hi guys, im shotting nl200 and want you to evaluate some spots i played. Since im shotting I dont have too much info about villain. He seems to be an aggr. Reg. Do you think c/shove is good line and should i c/jam KK,AA too in this spot to protect my (weak) checkingrange?
March 3, 2014 | 11:46 p.m.
yeah i think i should add specific SB/BB vs BTN stats, i only have "3b by position" and "3b vs position". But thats not my point here, i want to know how much i must defend against an x% 3b. How much do i have to defend vs 15%, how much vs 10 ...

Hey guys...i'm new here :)
I have a question. Think about about a BU vs SB situation. You are in the BU and opr 2.5x. You get a 3b to 8bb, you have the info SB threebets 6% out of the SB and 9% against BU.
Now, how does our mathematically correct defendingrange have to look like (1. when we take out the fact that we could 4b for value/bluff and 2. if we include a 4b-range?
If someone can give me an advice how i can calculate spots like this i would really appreciate it :).
i agree 4b pre is non standard and i almost never do it unless action/timing is crazy and i'm quite confident my hand is best. He is definitely wider than most and linear 3bettingrange, so maybe 4b/fold would be better, but not sure about that...i like to have that hand in my range, when faced w/ a call pre
Checking river makes his life easy w/ all his bluffcatchers (JJ,TT,QTs,QJs, QTs if he ever calls that pre and even if he has AQ he can possibly make a bad fold, when planning to x/c i think bet myself ai is better
thanks guys so far :)
