Fold. Unless there is a big fish in the blinds. Ultra-tight micro siege mentality.

Yes cash NLHE and PLO . I moved to PokerStars this month after the cut in rakeback ( used to have up to 80%, now dropped to ~40%).

Played over 700k hands there and I did not notice nothing funny regarding their RNG. What stakes and games are you playing?

Personally I was in the same boat a few months ago, then I opted for PLO at the start of the year since the games are way softer. Still play NLHE occasionally and watching videos; when and if I'll get to higher stakes I would like to be reasonably solid in both games.

Members with an essential status account are no longer able to view the comment threads related to elite videos. A questionable decision imo.

Are Win 8 tablets supported?

PLO is definitively softer at the micro in terms of average opponent skills. However as previous stated rake is huge and you need a larger bankroll compared to NLHE to get trough the swings.

You can also try EquilabOmaha. Not as good as OO but it's free.

Hey guys. I am currently play both NL and PLO cash games (0.10/0.20 with shots at NL/PLO 50 when I can afford it). What do you think is an ideal bankroll size and management? Consider that:
- I would like to reach small stakes asap.
- I have no problem to move down.
- I don't need to cash out.
Atm I am taking a 10 BI shots when I have 50 BI for my current stake plus 10 BI for the next higher stake. For instance if I have 1500 eur I will take a 500 eur shot at NL/PLO50 and move back at NL/PLO20 when my roll drops to 1000 eur. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

It's .25/.50 PLO. Stacks are in bb rather than currency.

Thanks for the answers guys. Regarding the hand I opted for gii on otf for the reason explained by spassewr. I may be wrong but at this stakes (50 PLO) I am not really worried much about balancing.

Well, a poker site should...maximise its profits. How? Reducing the skill level gap between the players. Anyhow I am looking forward to know more about the effective rake, but so far I am rather unimpressed.
