I personally like you line way better that what was played but I can see the merit of the c/shove line as well.

I agree, I would even prefer open folding cause raise folding to an 8BB stack is really meh..

Even without checking my got feeling tells me that you are right cause the pressure is not on Sauce or the other guy ICMwise, so it makes it (at least from my inexpert ICM eyes) a profitable shove (cause of course any J is fine to shove there from EV point of view).

The shove with A5o with 6BB from UTG is far from being EV+ IMO
The only reason to shove so wide is because the blinds are going on us the very next hand..
I agree, I prefer the A7o spot a lot more.
