Quick Update I am Day 2 into my 14 day isolation in my office due to catching COVID decided to do it to keep the rest of my family safe i am unsure of the variant good new is though I'm crushing 5NL bankroll is healthy again decided to take RoleTide advice and play reg tables instead of zoom which has been very profitable so far if things carry on i will be shot taking 10NL by end of the month i am literally eating sleep grind and i love it have not touched other games and don't plan too February has started with a bang

I'm quite annoyed at myself i have a nice win rate at 5NL but i have mindset issues and always play short deck after a loosing session and i have lost just under half my roll really pissed off but really trying to stop this loop I'm on want to be honest in my journal i am going to try post weekly updates and look at it as an opportunity to learn

Hello Everyone,
I have created a journal in the past but failed to keep up with it but this year I'm going to keep up with it as i feel like i have grown as a person and a player. Last year i experienced immense growth a player due being a member of RIO i was playing 2NL and loosing i kept deleting databases and starting over had serious chase your losses syndrome i was just an all round Degen who felt entitled to beat micros as time past i was invited to a discord group which would change my life and my poker journey i started studying with players that where better than me and they coached me and showed me i was a huge fish with no fundamentals just want to give a shout out to @RunItTw1ce HawksWin MattS i have these 3 to thank for changing my game RunItTw1ce Coached me one on one and was instrumental in my development Crappy thanks for your PowerPoint and Hawks AKA the database wizard helped me understand stats and exploits.
There is more i ended up loosing my roll after this because of mindset issues and decided to take a break from poker entirely so for 2 months i did and in that time i worked hard on my mindset reading books meditation and just taking a break helped all be it a long one, but i had never even took a day off in the past and didn't realize but i suffered for burn out. so anyways after two months i deposited £10 and ran it up to $90 gambling essentially my real deposit date was a couple weeks off lost most of the $90 playing short deck which also i had issues with just playing one game i.e. NLH cash so i had $26 left and entered a few MTT's entered a 3max Turbo KO on Christmas Eve finished 4th for $75 total then on boxing day the day after Christmas finished 3rd for $145 in the same MTT then finished 8th for $56 in the micro Monday 6max a day later so my roll was at like $280. ended up loosing 10BI playing my nemesis short deck AGAIN
That's when everything changed for me internally see in the past i had tried around 11 times to move up in stakes for 2NL to 5NL failing every time so i stopped playing went outside and give my self a pep talk and said Reece you are not going to fail again this time it felt different i was a much stronger player technically from all the coaching and studying i had done but you wanna piss away Buyins on games like short deck don't be that guy anymore and for the next week i played 12k hands and I'm up 16.5BI at 5NL zoom and have not played short deck since i take regular breaks and approach poker in a more professional way as you can see it has taken time to adjust i have been bluff catching to much and had to overcome my mental block of moving up stakes after failing 11 times but never give up it is possible and just remember we are doing well at life if we can play poker no matter the stake so be grateful be kind to yourself and work hard peace everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR

They maybe in my HM archive yes i have i beat 2NL struggled at 5 though i feel i now have enough knowledge to beat 5NL just need to play it a ton so going to get back to it in a few weeks when i study a solver i don't really study frequencies i look for patterns and i feels like i have a good understanding of how a solver works so i when my subscription runs out i wont be renewing it i just struggle playing 2NL all the time when i know i could probably do well higher say 10NL but for me it all comes down to capital i would probably have to spend 6months saving for a 10NL bankroll or a year playing 2NL/5NL because i really feel like 20BI is bad advice

HawksWin I lost most of it at 10NL and just lacked discipline to move back down and play 2NL your right i should be moving along smoothly but unfortunately has not worked out but i am definitely not giving up either way i will redeposit again even if i have to save up but i want to play above 5NL so what i am learning means something

Do anyone think if i put together a full comprehensive write up of all the spots i have studied it could be worth anything to anyone and i am looking to make a little side income for a bankroll for one last shot at poker and since i am disabled and cannot get a job like the average person i am trying to raise like $400 to $1K do you think its possible?

RunItTw1ce I love wizard think the price is brilliant and you don't need a powerful PC as its browser based i suggest changing your raise colors in settings makes it much easier when viewing filters

It already has predetermined bet sizes and you can choose one and look at how its effects ranges and responses usually its small large overbet all in and it uses predetermined ranges it has 500NL and now 50NL its GTO Wizard its a browser based solver

at NL2 my opinion is that flush draws and straight draws are very under XR in general from any position and his sizing choice is terrible he his only repping Qx or a set but sets would go bigger even fish want to get the money in with a set so to me he is over valuing top pair so i would get the money in asap or atleast call down with As blocker

Like RunItTw1ce says TT is choosing XR as a pure strat vs 3/4 pot bet and mixing vs a small size

First of all TT is a 4bet pre we are checking our entire range 99% on this flop never donking your basically donking into an uncapped range i have filtered for your highest equity hands and as you can see donking is a terrible idea with TT your range has a lot of trash and you don't have an equity advantage
Back again February has been mental posted by biggest winning day ever at 5NL i was stuck at 2NL for 4 years and never gave up busted rolls alot i have grown so much as a player in the last year its crazy shout out to everyone that's mentored me this year is my year NEVER GIVE UP
