Hello Pedro nice video, very clear explanation of your ideas.
I have a question can you explain a little bit more your SB strategy? I notice that you raise more than limping or at least that was my impression. Any specific reason or maybe you think BB is weak or something?
Ty!

Wow really mind-blowing video for me, excellent info. Thanks Ryan
I have a couple of questions. I play 11-55$ MTTs 4-5 times a week and I want to know your opinion in a couple of possible scenarios.
1) How bad idea is to play slow sats to bigger MTTs?
2) I understand bounty mtts have more variance. What do you think is a good proportion of this games in our schedule taking in account more fish play this format?
Great work man!

Excellent work Ryan!
I like the examples that you give in the video but im wondering if there is any chance to have more examples deep in a MTT like 2-3 tables left with ICM pressure. I found myself doing mistakes in this spots very often.
Thanks

Ty for the answer. I notice myself been kind of nitty at shortstacks. Thanks!

Great video Daniel pretty interesting topic. Really enjoy watching the exploits.
I have a question in the part you exploit the opener for checking back flop with a overbet. This apply with short stacks? 14-22bb? or you prefer to be more value heavy with a small sizing?
I would like to see the second part. Thanks

Great idea i think im overfolding when i check against btn.
Aug. 10, 2018 | 3:41 a.m.
Thanks for the quick answer.
But do you think between 25-30 there is not to merit to 3b some small suited gappers (example 64s, 63s, 74s)?

Hi Ryan
Really good video! All the serie is a great idea imo.
I have some questions:
1.Are you defending less against the best regs that plays pretty good postflop?
2.You take in account if the opponent bets pretty frequent with a big sizing post flop, or these factors doesn't matter?
3. How you defend with 15bb and 10bb? how this interact with your reshove range?
3.How looks your 3b bluff shallower vrs EP, CO and BTN positions?
Great job mate! I want to see the next video about SB. I hope you can expand in 3b and cold calling from the sb.
Thanks

Really good video Daniel. Personally I would like to see more of BvB with shallow stack!

Great video Cory. Good addition to the RIO team.
I really like the background of the presentation.
I would like to see:
1-Short 6max
2-NLH to PLO
3- Equilibrium Strat!
Keep the good work!
Thanks

Hi Chris great video! (Thank god for the 6 tables!)
Couple of question
@20:00 KK before the btn flatted you considered to slow play KK. I most of the time think that people from UTG have their stronger range to call 20bb shoves and most loose villain are more Ax heavy in this spots making KK a little vulnerable and lose action against a hand like AQ in no Axx boards. What factors you take in account when slow playing? RF and agroo of the opponnet?
@28:00 Q9s flat against CO. Your game plan in this spot for SB this deep flats a ton OOP something like 22+ J8s+ and 3b only premium? Im always unsure about my SB strategy. At what stack deep you start to flat less SB?
@29:00 AJo in this spot (I play much lower stakes) if I had the read I tend to float very wide against certain players and bet almost any turn they check and fold against the more nitty population. Is working fine so far but maybe in more higher stakes this is a leak? Can I hear your opinion in this spot plz.
I hope you can make a couple of theory videos in the future but I def enjoy this type of live play records. Sounds really interesting the 25k review.
Thank you very much for your great work!

Really like this video. A lot of information on playing the bubble with great detail.
Thank Akira!

Yeah I agree with u kingkong, AKh is our best bluffcatcher combo against someone who bluff in the right frequency. But what happen if villain only bluff 1 of his 5 bluff combos 2 of 10 times? thats really my doubt.

Hi Sam really good video!
For me personally is really great thing to have theory and practical hands examples separated because lead me digest and understand a little bit better the concepts. The amount of examples is great with a good ratio of value hands and bluffs because I believe most of MTT players are towards value when we are talking about overbets in general.
I have a question
@27:43 AKdh I ran a data base analysis on PT4 for more than 300k hands (I still believe is short samples but is what I got) and I found out that most MTT player almost don't c/r river unless they have a nutted hand. Of course I find some bluffs but there are 2 categories really good regs and maniacs almost no rec or bad reg c/r river enough to give me a incentive to call them. If I understand correctly u can exploit people that don't bluff enough by over folding. In this hand AK with the Kh is your best hand to call GTO wise but against population I think is mostly a fold. I don't say GaryT20 is a bad reg or something because I never play with him before but I tend to think making this call in the river is slightly losing imo. Can u give me your thoughts in this? maybe with a larger data base result could be different but idk.
If suggestions are receive. I really like your past series of the Pokerstars Sunday rebuy and seriously learn a lot how to adapt in the different parts of a MTT. If possible to have something similar for the 1k Sunday grand and the 530$ BB?. In theory topics could be nice to review:
1. SB gameplan
2. BB defend
3. SB vs BB dynamics
4.BB defend in multiway pots
I really enjoy your work man. Keep it coming! :)
Thanks,

I really like your videos a lot Sam, they are kind of different but really good value there!

Welcome long time vlog follower here :)
Really great add to the RIO coaches. I have to say its really notable the difference between the first vlog and the lastest videos. Congrats
I really enjoy the video but I have a couple of questions:
@15:00 AA How much change your 4b range UTG vrs MP 500bb deep? and MP vrs BTN 500bb deep? really interesting bet 1k on the flop in your analysis.
@15:00 109s don't you think is fine to have this kind of hands in a low freq for board coverage purposes 250bb+ deep?
It would be really cool if you can make a video in the way you approach studying for HS.
Your English was fine, im not English native speaker and I understood everything.
Welcome again and un saludo hasta Japon!

Great idea for a new video!
Couple of question
1- @15:49 A7o Marchese open form the CO with Goose on the BTN and Christner on the BB. Certainly he can put some ICM pressure on them with Bryn been so short and Hellmuth 0% to play agroo the SB seems like a ok spot to me but not fantastic. Goose is like call happy imo and Christner is not a easy BB. Do you think this spot is one chiplead always have to take? open crappy hands against thought opposition behind?
2-@37:23 KJo hand how much do you raise been in Fedor position and what your range looks like against the limp? I will tend to complete with 109s but im a nit.
Some suggestions:
Theory videos
1-MTT satellites (with some real examples)
2-Defending less than 10bb on the bb
3-Money bubble and FT bubble (with some real examples)
Gameplay videos
1-Idk if you are interesting in review your 25k win or is too private
2-The last 25k on stars
3-The main event review sounds awesome
4-The 111k one drop is on Youtube if thats help :)
Thanks Chris really enjoy this format
Nov. 9, 2017 | 6:36 p.m.
Really enjoy this series, really good idea. I would call incorrectly in most spots thinking is like 1/5 or 1/7 haha.
Nov. 8, 2017 | 5:07 p.m.
- Yeah the thing with this is im not sure how many combos to bluff because is ez to start overbluffing using idk 22-66, AJs and off, J8, Kxs and Axs. Something like that is reasonable? 3/2 value/bluff ratio. I start notice that im pretty nitty in 3b pots.
Nov. 2, 2017 | 7:53 p.m.
imo you shouldn't follow a static chart. Ranges are dynamic sometimes is good to open A4o and other could be bad to open A8o both in the CO all depend in the situation.I think you should have a baseline of your strat and play with it depending on the different factor in you table. But I think Jason can explain it better than me.

Hi Sam couple of questions
@20:43 Q3o you were talking about defending less in KO tournaments. thing that I agree. My question is how much been playing a KO tournament decreases your rejam range? for example rejam A2s vrs BTN or CO.
@22:40 Ben86 3b J10o from the SB against BTN open. I personally don't 3b offsuited middle cards OOP but I would like to know your opinion about this play. I mean Ben is a winning player. Do you think he had the read in Kamari is folding to much against 3bs? or is more common this kind of plays in HS tournaments?
@26:00 K7dd against the over turn bet (20K/15,9k) if the turn is a 8 or 4 non diamond what do you do? and in 8d, 4d or any other diamond?
@30:00 1010 against UTG open. I tend to bet bigger in the flop in general with good and some middle hands but mostly checking them. Did you choose this sizing (4000/12000) because be a 4way pot and the BTN is really short?
@34:30 Im not very good in 3b pots but im wondering about raising flop. The only real bad bad card for you on the turn is a A, a J maybe too but you block heavily AK. If we raise all our good top pair our calling range dosent become too weak? (maybe is a mix and I don't got it in the video) you even had a backdoor flush draw. With a hand like QJs or KJs do you raise flop or just call? Im trying to understand if you have some bluff in your range.
Thanks in advance Sam, great series!
Oct. 31, 2017 | 6:10 p.m.
I really don't understand calling here, we don't have better hands to call like a 10? I know you explained in the video but I quite don't get it yet hehe
Oct. 31, 2017 | 5:40 p.m.
This is the part of the video I really dislike my game. I leak find myself a couple of months ago and find this leading turn thing very weird and I haven't notice the logic problem 4b TT in the both spots. I have to work in that.
Couple of questions Chris:
1.@13:49 JJ in the SB. First I have been working in my SB strategy and I raise JJ, sometime I raise QQ and almost flat AA and KK but all of this depends on the villain on BB. I really like the way I play the hand but I really not huge fan of the river bet 149k/454k im thinking if betting around 200k something is the correct bet sizing?
1.1@13:49 I don't think is really a ez 3b with AQo in the bb, I don't mind him calling the raise. In this particular case I think is fine to 3b because he cover me but if the stacks were a little bit different (Me covering the guy) I would just call with AQo. I would like hear your thoughts.
2. @18:40 KQo what line do you think is the best with this hand. Call/call/raise river to protect weaker flushes?
3.@20:41 A9s against this exact opponent I really regret to raise flop but against some opponent I like to raise this flop because I do it sometimes with the naked Ac. Against population what line you think is the best and against good opponent is the same line?
Thanks Chris really appreciate your points of view and I gonna fix these leaks :)
Oct. 30, 2017 | 5:48 p.m.
Yeah in game I thought in 4b but I wasn't sure if is the best idea. Middle stack open, middle stack 3b and I 4b. If they fold I don't win too much than 185k and mi position in FT dosent change almost nothing. Thats why I decided to fold. But nowadays I wouldn't fold but yeah really unsure if 4b/fold is the correct line.
Oct. 30, 2017 | 5:04 p.m.
I personally I use the HRC results at least with 0.2+. Calling a little more tighter than Nash recommend for 10bb call and a even more for 15bb. So far is giving me great results in middle stakes.

Hi MTT coaches
I would be nice if someone can make a video about money bubble and FT bubble.
Thanks a lot :)
Oct. 25, 2017 | 10:49 p.m.
Hi S.M.S
16:00 109ss By the time of the tournament I wasn't sure why I was leading the turn to be sincere, just looks like a better card for me than for UTG and i gave it a try.
Two questions:
1. How big with your big sizing?
2. What accomplish the smaller bet?
Thanks for your thoughts!
Oct. 23, 2017 | 8:24 p.m.
I have been trying to post in this video several times but Idk why I can't. (Maybe is too long of a post)
Hi Pedro I really enjoy the video. Thanks for your work.
@21:00 I have a question about calling the small cbet with 2 types of hands in this spot.
K6 with a backdoor is a call or raise hand. For example K6dd in the Q72d what should be doing in a card like 4d or a Ad after calling?
Same example but with KJdd in a turn diamond (No Ad or Qd) where we are blocking hands like KQ and QJ (idk if this is relevant or not)?
Thanks
