So, my thoughts..
Since he didn't 3bet pf I can first off rule out AQ/QQ/AA.
Since the flop is really drawheavy Im pretty sure this guy would have reraised flop with any 2pair/set (as in Q8/Q7/87 - 88/77).. This hand was played 1.5h in to the HU and this opponent has been seen 3betting pockets as low as 55 (he 3bets 20 %), so have in mind he likley would have 3betted 77/88, but lets say he still have them in his pree flop calling range..
With me assuming he would have reraised flop with 2pair/set, is this a good shove? Since in mind I can have all the nut hands in my range on this board?
I mean the only 2 hands I can see myself getting raised here with that is "good" is 8A / 7A which ofc is in his range (but since my range still crush thoose hands I don't see them reraising me on turn... With that said, he could be semibluffing a really wide range, and even turn 8x 7x into bluffs here..
I don't want to call since he speaks first and can bluff shove my J high into a sad fold "knowing" he can't have good here...
Anyway, I don't have time to write anymore, i'm off to a slumber party with sulsky and as he called it "some bitches".
Appreciate your reviews on this hand!
Thanks for the answer, I know what you're saying, and that's why I wanted to post the hand.. It's a little bit tricky, since I would mostly call with my (strong)range here and let him bluff shove the river..
But I can't do that with this hand since I can't sit on river with J high and see an all in..
With that in mind, should I go for the play I did, or should I fold knowing my range will be plus ev in theese spots in the long run anyway... That's what im wondering, should I break it down to a hand to hand spot as I did here, and go for the money. Or should I just go for the long run range advantage.. hehe
I think it's kind of interesting...
This time I got called, and he had A8, which I think was a really bad turn raise from him. And I still liked my play. Question is, in a hand to hand matter, not range matter, what you think?
