Hi Vincent.
Pretty solid video i may say,i find u open a bit too wide some trash hands like 82o and wonder why u use 2,5bb as a standard opening.
I like the way u build ur x/calling range in order to trap villain, same thing concerning flatting 3bets even if in the spot with KK i'd be more inclined to 4bet,do u have to be totatlly consistent with ur strategy vs that kind of opponent as u underline he has major leaks?
Thanks again for sharing this.

The equity threshold i use is meant to help beginners like myself playing NL 25 to adjust to build a standard-safe CC range when it comes to defense so as not to defend too wide and thus bleeding money for lack of skills.
If BTN opens at 2,5bb BB must defend at least 37% of his range in order to prevent him from making a profit with ATC.I understand that it's best to flat with a range that will make marginal pairs at a high frequency, however Q7s would still be the top of my folding range.
As Janda wrote (and i'm far from understanding it fully):
t's wrong to think that hands can be classified from strongest to weakest based on their equity alone.
It doesn't take into account that villain's range will change based on what line we take and this causes the equity of our hands to change.
For this reason hands which work best as calls don't always have more equity than hands which work best as bluff raises.

Hi Steve.
When you talk about the spots BB defense vs BTN steal i quite disagree with you concerning the defense range.First of all you have to take into account the huge rake taxed by the room which compels to defend a little tighter than as described. My second point being that every hand you choose to defend needs around 48% equity OOP vs the BTN entire range so there is no way i'm gonna call Q5s for ie unless he steal >75%.So please could you be more specific concerning this topic for it seems to me you're a bit out of the way compared to what i can read in Janda's book. Thanks a lot, your enthusiasm is quite nice to hear.

Then on the turn 45% or ur bets will be value bets and 67% on the river.

You have to take into account many factors imo, however the issue of what sizing to take is essential.Furthermore u start constructing ur range from the river to determine the value/bluff ratio needed, meaning depending on the sizing u chose ur value/bluff ratio will change accordingly. If u bet the flop with a polarized range 34% of ur flop bets must be for value with a psb of 0,75 on all 3 streets.

I think this concept is pretty hard to grasp for most of us,what i'd like to know is for what stakes it's useful to start to apply GTO ( in the case u know what ur doing of course )? I mean here in France for ie some say u need it only at NL 200+ and under u only use pieces of it and playing exploitative is the ultimate strategy, so where is the truth?

Hi! Solid video,i like ur style, the way u develop every spot.If i may answer to the above question just click in the option toolbar in the HM2 replayer where "Show win/loss colors" appears.
I myself didn't notice that as ur hud is pretty large.++

I really enjoyed seeing this one, your elaborate analysis is top imo as u dig deep to enable us to see all the options/possibilities.
I play myself at 25PLO on PP.fr and i strive to play TAG vs so many donks who rely on chance at best.
Could you some day talk about ur daily schedule: how many hours u play,nb of tables, what's ur range of limits,ur bkm,how u strengthen ur mental game ( do u apply Tendler's tips? )...
Do u also plan to make masterclasses?
Thanks a lot for ur work and GL on tables.

Brilliant video nicely detailed,i appreciated very much the way u make every concept easy to grasp.
I'd like to know in ur example on the J95r flop if u consider checking behind OC such as AQ is because they have some SDV or because they can block some SD or GS? Why cbetting these hands would be a mistake as we consider them as strong airs?
Thanks a lot!

Hello!

I really loved this hand review video with your analysis assessing defense ranges depending on the pfr, that's the way to understand how to exploit villains.

Your move river in the last hand is pretty solid imo for he gave you much info on the turn by not stabbing, meaning a capped range at the most so on this river blank your overbet is great.

Thank you for sharing.

Hi Jonas!

I agree with Gerard on the first hand, your check-raise on the turn is too unbalanced, you represent few combos so your range is very narrow;i think it accomplishes nothing to x/r on the turn, too polarized imo.

Hi Felipe!

Great video with clear explanations,i enjoyed very much your use of CRE in your semi-bluffing moves. In fact there are so many themes it will take 3 or 4 times to assess this video fully.Thanks.

Very helpful indeed,i used to play too straightforward and now i'm trying to play less weak by building a checking range more balanced.Good work Simon.

Sorry Jonas for not being clear! What i meant is if you're facing happy squeezers OTB or in blinds when you're CO or HJ flatting an early raise with Premium hands is great, you then have the option of new york back raising the squeezer,is that move still adequate at your limits? As for the other topic i meant calling 25-33% of times with A5s- instead of 3 betting especially at OTB,in order to balance your game but maybe i'm wrong.

Great video, elaborate analysis on most spots,i enjoyed your video very much.Concerning your flatting range do you coldcall a certain % of times for example with your top range like 25-33% to balance your game? Are NYBR still efficient at your limits? Thanks a lot for this video, looking forward to seeing part2,bye.
