I think you both played it fine. From his perspective, your hand looks like an over pair, and he's ahead of all of them (even assuming you have a spade) except aces (which is close to a coin flip). After you you raise him on the flop, I don't think him calling makes much sense. His stack to pot ratio is just so high at this point, that check-folding probably isn't a good idea, so he might as well go all in and gather whatever little fold equity he might have. I like your bet and your raise on the flop. Honestly, this hand just seems like a cooler for whichever player loses. Keep it up! Won't happen every time.
Why would you overbet on the turn? I'm not sure what hands are folding to €2.20 that wouldn't fold something like €1.65. Maybe K9, KT or something? You wouldn't have to risk as much bluffing the river (which I like doing).
