Agree with Cairy here. He has 4 short stacks behind him in the 8-12BB range he shouldn't be opening wide(except this hand apparently).
But on the other hand if he is opening like that you must have felt he is pushing a little bit and decided to go with the 3 bet I like a bigger c bet(if it was rainbow flop I love the c bet), because the flop does contain a flush draw he might perceive your hand a little stronger if you bet just a little bit bigger. If you are bluffing the K is a good barrel card for you. When you check hand on the turn you are telling him you have showdown value or give up on such a wet board(no K + hand at least )so when you jam his river bet you are not representing much and might get looked up more light then you would expect.

Looks like a good played hand in my opinion, except for the river line.Personally I wouldn't have bet the river for reasons stated by you about his range(no Ax) and a set will surely value bet the river for you if he has one.
Didn't you ever consider check/calling the river? I don't think you get called by 99 or JJ even if he is tilted and spew and maybe you could put more bluffs in his range by checking (it is possible and likely he will take the showdown value that you think he has and turn it into a bluff).Maybe the only real showdown value in this hand is KK that he checks back and you maybe get a crying call on the river(not sure).

In general in a live tournament people tighten up there calling down 3 bet all ins on the bubble(I would be tempted to resteal)
I think we can consider a few extra factors:
- how active he has been in general
- has he been active and abusing the bubble(would take into account if he was opening 2x before and now made it 2.5x, prob means he is protecting some sort of hand or adjusting to the big blind )
-what kind of player/stack is in the big blind and if the 2 shorter stacks are behind him to act or already folded(would be more inclined to fold if the short stacks are behind him)
- how he perceives you
- what is the tournament average(from what you say sound like it's about 15-20bb), so calling you and losing would drop him below average on the bubble so he prob won't want to call you light (KQ lightat least) I mean

I like the alternative that you gave me about calling his open and the explanation for it.
What do you believe his 4bet/6bet jam range could be apart from the above mentioned PP 88+?

1.5 bet jam for protecting the 100K in the middle that represent 30% of my stack(I'm saying this because of the fact that it's a late in the tournament and I want to also protect my stack ).And was thinking only 5betting this size with big PP JJ+
2.Is the route I chose.My logic was something that I wanted to give him the impression of FE and also not to leave him much room for a call IP if I 5 bet a little smaller(maybe this is wrong and he never flats) and was kind of thinking that he can 6 bet jam something like an Ax thinking that he gets me of my bluffs and when he does get called he isn't absolutely crushed,or his pure bluffs if he has any.I know I wan't him in the hand with this range but this opens up the small PP 22-88 which I am not crazy about(I know there are more Ax combos if with my blocker or am I just dreaming about this scenario).So do I want this?(meaning that does he have what I dream of very often or I am in a flip most of the time because he just knows he is getting flatted so often that is not worth it for him given his edge on the remaining field and the newly acquired 2x average stack)
He ended up having 88!By the way does my sizing suck?(I think I would have done this with big PP JJ+)
Or is this spot pretty standard considering the 6 handed and I am only result oriented(guess I wouldn't have noticed it so much if I would have won)
If you get around to Bucharest/Romania you need to try out Cluj Napoca. Way better city then Bucharest. Won't regret it! People are way different then the capital and you will pleasantly surprised I can promise you that!(ask your friend from Bucharest)
