at 30:00 in the utg rfi range, you have 8655dsi, as well as 9877ds. It looks to me like you may have meant 9877ss, because 8655ds already includes 9877ds. Not sure if that made sense, but I'm just wondering if that's the case or if I'm misunderstanding the chart

while a short stack video would be good, the deep stack content is always great, so I'd have to vote for deep play

video doesn't load for me, the red circle just spins forever

I think the webcam has some value just for air quotes purposes

"I decided to bet my hand, for no particular reason" lol. nice video

while this content is not bad at all, the games get tougher by the month/week/day, so I'd much prefer newer footage. Especially since the recent solvers have affected the meta (as we all try to figure out what the hell is going on lol)

I realize now that this was probably the worst place to make a post about this, because it's an older video and nobody with the site probably reads the old comments. A forum post might work much better. I may make one later

I am able to watch every other video i try to watch on the site, except this one, which shows the spinning circle endlessly after the 5 second RIO intro. Anybody ever experienced something like this?

I don't even play no limit nowadays, but I really appreciate these videos. Before I was any good at poker I was a rail bird, watching guys like Sauce start defending every hand and marveling at how someone could make money like that. It's funny, I seem to remember reading someone talking about Phil Ivey's no limit game from the 2005-2007 days, and saying that he's a smart player postflop, but he has some big preflop leaks like defending his blinds too much :)
You mentioned maybe going over some pre black friday stuff - I think it would be cool if others would also like to see it.

guys, don't you just hate it when you click on the stars icon on taskbar and your list of every 200/400 and 100/200 cash game gets in the way of your tables? i hate when that happens to me

In addition to these math based videos, I would also like to see a gameplay video from you Sergey. On another note, It's nice to have Lautie making videos where he uses logic more than math, and then have Sergey making videos where he focuses on the math more. Bravo runitonce

jungleman still hero calling hands that lose to bluffs and being right I see :D
I think this series is very educational and would like to see more, but I would also like to suggest a video idea. I know Durian has done videos about BB defense in 6max games, but I would really enjoy a video similar to your 3bet pots oop video where you go over in depth some spots where you defended the bb in ring games, and how you would play that combo as well as different parts of your range. If others would also like to see it I think it would be a good video, seeing as you are on the looser side of bb defenders (with very good results), and in the time since Durian's video the game has evolved.

Hi Tyler. At 3/6 NL on ignition how much do you factor, if at all, the rake into your decisions (flatting preflop, defending the blinds, vpip in general)? the rake cap is the same, but it gets hit nearly every hand (at least at plo). I think any pot 80$ or greater gets rake capped 6 handed. I'm not the best at math, so I don't know how to factor the rake into decisions with any real accuracy. Would appreciate any thoughts on this, and thanks for the content!

I would love to see this calculation, it's something I've wanted to know how to do forever but I have no idea how to tackle it

nice video, thanks! my favorite one from you so far

Can Phil or someone at Rio please take note that almost all of alexkp videos have poor user feedback regarding depth of analysis and lack of interaction

Q994ds has to be a vpip... would love to hear the justification for this fold, but unfortunately it appears alex isn't going to be responding in the comment sections for his videos

i think until co sees our "mutliway playability" hand at showdown it's a good spot to take since most of those hands will dominate btn's flatting range. he can't make the adjustment to 4b more hot and cold eq until he has that information without risking getting smoked by a strong range. admittedly we'll go to showdown very often in a situation like this, but still seems worth it until it happens. i also play only on an anonymous site, so i think about things like this a lot :)
excellent post jnandez, post more here!

+1 i dont even play NL but i always watch sauce and krab videos. I like them because they're articulate and feature a lot of game theory, although in this video i liked hearing about the explo too. just all around good stuff.

i think both players record videos and they edit the hole cards from one into the other using editing software
March 7, 2016 | 7:14 p.m.
i agree. alexkp made some interesting bet sizing decisions yet failed to elaborate on why he chose those sizings. even a little bit of theory interjected would go a long way. once in a while commenting on overall ranges instead of describing the action with one particular combo would be nice.
the video is enjoyable as entertainment because of alex's personality, but unfortunately it isn't particularly educational.

at 3:20 when you type in chat "you can never be too careful" it reminded me of when Tom Dwan said the same thing to you on poker after dark PLO. i think you folded your sb in a limped pot with antes :D
thanks for the video. i enjoyed it, although for selfish reasons i'd prefer 4c plo because american sites don't spread 5c :(
Feb. 24, 2016 | 3:28 a.m.
in the last hand, why did you open the button small instead of potting it? you said that stickkman doesn't fold his bb much, so i would play a limp or pot button strategy. am i missing something here?

when danmer asks how much per hour for coaching you should have said 100$/month :D

excellent stuff Phil, thanks. in order of preference
1) continue this series
2) huplo series
3) 5c PLO

good video Phil, thanks. since you asked, i think you would do better to be more aware of the fact that 95% of the pool recognizes your MrSweets name and probably really doesn't want to be bluffed by you (both because they know you're creative and can show up with bluffs, and because it might potentially be on video). in addition, any player who doesn't know who you are is probably too weak to work out that he should fold to some of your fancier bluffs.

KK87s wp imo.
thanks for the video, nice flow and good balance between detail and speed.
live videos get a lot more interesting the stronger the lineup is, whereas online videos are usually always interesting even at lower stakes. Just my 2 cents
