@kalupso:

could you please elaborate why you prefer SImple Preflop Holdem over Monker for Texas preflop sims?

Cheers

Have played a few more session now:
- on windows it runs a lot smoother
- it is really annoying that no settings are saved. Every time I open the application I have to redo all settings
- Splash pots are still fun and make up for some other things

Hi @Nick Steiner, thanks for your answer. Already sent the file to support, but I lost several hands that I was involved in, because the software crashed on me mid-hand. This is beyond frustrating, as you can imagine. So far I was only asked to send the specific times of the hands and more details, but having played several tables, it is really hard to remember all those details.
I hope you can improve some of these things asap, as I would love to play on the site.
What I found is that it is running way smoother on Windows. So maybe don't even offer the Mac version as long as it is this unstable?

Also, the action so far is very little at the small plo limits. Sometimes just one table running.

See below for cards missing

So here are my first impressions from the site:
- annoyingly hard to click "Sit back in". I was only able to click sit back in once I was about to be kicked off the table
- not being able to resize tables is really annoying
- splash pots are a lot of fun
- there are weird graphic glitches, like white flashes and sometimes the cards don’t show. Sometimes the flop is shown for a moment and then lost (I play on a mac)
- the app just crashed on me and i could reconnect to my tables. It still says money is in game somewhere, but I just can't find a way to get back the tables

Most of this is really annoying and frustrating, as the glitches simply make it really hard to recognize what is happening. I would love to support and play on the site, but these are major factors. Not being able to get back to the table I was just crashed from, is super annoying.
I really hope you guys and girls can make some changes soon, as I would love to play here.

So would that mean you look for a preferred bet size first through solving for multiple and then only solve for that one bet size after?

Post | Samuel posted in NLHE: PIO Beginner Question

Hi,

Recently purchased PIO and had a beginner question.

In order to find out the optimal bet size for a spot, should I try different singular bet sizes, rather than multiple, as the results would be overwhelming? Then comparing the EVs of the trees with let’s say a 33% and a 66% sizing?

Or how do you go about finding the optimal sizing for a spot? Is it through using multiple (3 or more) bet sizes and then focusing on the preferred bet size used by the solver?

Help is appreciated,
Cheers
