Nice vid Steve!

As @nalpac sugested earlier, would be interesting to get a deeper view in bigger stacks - id sugest10-12ish bbs - maybe a "stop n go video"; on that scenario, you actualy do have some good fold equity on good flops (not only when you hit, but when villains range tend to miss), so we could explore that and be a little more creative than the push/fold strategy when shortstacked.

Btw, on live i see far more creative plays like those you explain when short than online...

Hey Steve, very good video! It's always interesting to think outside of the box, and you just did it with the math basis, not only being creative...

In my opinion, the hardest part is finding out on which flops do we jam/call on. That's probably what would definely make it more lucrative than simply jamming in (you consider it 5bbs, but i think it can be profitable with 7-8ish; around 9+, id prefer folding mediocre hands and you do have FE).

Lets take for an example the 87s (i dont see a big issue here, since it hits the flop / gains equity very often):
I would go for it on anything we hit (ofc pairs and +, gutshots, oesd, 2 overs) and win some equity (backdoors; disconnected boards with a single over card).
And i would fold to heavy boards with 2-3 high cards, like AKx, QKx, and no backdoors...

Now it gets harder when you consider 74o type of hands, which 'hits' the board less times. In this case, your probably considering not what you hit, but what villain most likely missed, so you still have some equity, right,? Im not sure if i still prefer folding it preflop, even though math says its profitable - id prefer having 4bbs on sb next hand i guess.. heheh

Going for the part2 now! :D
