Just wanted to say I play mostly cash games, but I still take the time to watch all of your videos as well as videos from many of the other great tournament players on this site. I always learn a ton from your videos and really enjoy the way you think about the game. Thanks so much for making this awesome content!

Yes, watching your videos reminds me that these are (mostly) people too!

Thanks for the great video again! What time of day are you usually playing in these pools? The reason I ask is I’m going to shot take 200NL Blitz soon and I keep hearing how hard this stake is, but it doesn’t seem THAT bad when I watch your RIO videos.

What are your thoughts on the 200NL Blitz player pool overall? I’ve heard many people describe this pool as tough, but the plays I see in your videos make me think otherwise.

This was a fascinating video thank you so much. Definitely a complicated concept to understand so I'll have to watch this a few times to make sure I really get it. :-)

I will say I really appreciate the quality of the videos you put out, Pete. I watch them all the time. Having said that, I think you might benefit from going back and carefully editing videos after recording to make sure your logic is sound.
As an example, your first live play hand with 43dd on J 7 2 (one diamond), I went back to check the solve myself and this appears to be a pure fold on the flop. I found this surprising as I would have thought 43dd would be a perfect raise as well for all of the reasons you mentioned, but that is not the case. After reviewing the solve it looks like most of the check-raise bluffs are hands with cards around the J and 7. In particular hands that contain a 10 or 9 (like A9, K9, Q9, K10, Q10, etc.) that can be barreled on straight completing turns because they have valuable blockers.
FYI, I am using the solver plus app on my phone to check this while watching your videos, so obviously tweaking ranges slightly might have an impact here. Just wanted to call out what I am seeing to provide useful feedback. If you go back and check your logic before posting videos I think that would help the quality.

Interesting fold with AA but I just don't see how it is correct. You need 14% equity to make the call. On K 9 8 4 board, if I give him only KK, 99, 88, K9 and K8 suited you have 9% equity. All i need to do get to 15% equity is add 2 combos of Kx (say AKoff) and now you have an essentially breakeven call. You look like a hero in this situation but you really think villain could NEVER do this with any Kx hand in his range? I maybe would have liked it more had you called turn and folded river.

Pretty surprised there are no comments on this video. Just wanted to say thanks Owen for the great work. It looks like this took you a long time to put together and it's super helpful!

Hi All, simple question for the forum. Does anyone know of any simple ways to recreate hand histories without tracking software? I play primarily on WSOP.com and can't use tracking software like poker tracker, but I can replay hands on WSOP. Would like to start posting hands but having a hard time finding a good formatting tool.
Would someone be able to help me find the tools that are used in this video? Looks like some tools to figure out equities and enter ranges for the stud/razz games.
