@Runintwice I agree what you said is true about opponents just buttonclicking, however vs that range doesn’t it make sense to proceed mostly as a call?
If their range is just mergy buttoonclicky hands then we don’t really benefit from check raising, as we don’t really deny equity and still just isolate ourselves vs the rare times they do have something.

Hey so I finally got around to simming this one and the results are very surprising to me.
On these low boards facing ip calling I simplify to checking my range. Once that happens and we face a large (3/4) bet, we almost never XR!
This actually makes a lot of sense, because the 3/4 bet is super polar. V shouldnt have much or any top pair on 953 to call us, so the raise just isolates vs sets. In addition if we always raise our overpairs and sets then we have no x call down range.
We do xr quite a bit vs a 1/3 bet, because V will be betting more merged. However facing a polar bet we proceed as a x call down with a lot of our overpairs. Really interesting stuff!!
Edit: idk why the screenshot uploaded so blurry. but the green is call and the blue is xraise

Hey Tariq! Love your videos. Going through them I notice a lot of time you turn relatively unintuitive SDV hands into bluffs.
Would really appreciate a video outlining those concepts!

Hey Tariq Haji (I hope I’m doing the tag right)
On the 78hh am I crazy for thinking that our preferred size (with our range) on the turn is 1/3? After we xr flop we have very few Ax, and the majority of our flop xr value range of overpairs doesn’t want to be large. In addition V has a higher proportion of Ax, so by betting polar on the turn we only rep sets for value (and I’m pretty sure 99 isn’t even supposed to xr full freq).
Thoughts on simplifying turn to one size (1/3) then saving our range split for the river?
hey man, regarding your back pain id recommend getting a a real standing desk instead of the setup you have now... it seems a bit low. I set my desk to max height personally to force myself to stand straight during sessions. If youre serious about poker then a good desk/setup is just a cost of doing business and an investment in your own wellbeing.
