I don't see Dario Sammartino in the list, he ended in 6th. I was hoping for an italian bracelet. He destroyed HS cash game tables on .it and is one of the best italian mtt players with Lasagnammmm (Mustapha Kanit). Sick :(

There's an open debate about Paletta here in Italy. He is a good defender, but nothing special...The real problem is that we don't have great defenders nowadays... lofigr Non ci sono più difensori come Nesta, Cannavro, Maldini, Zambrotta in Italia... So it's difficult to have a strong defense like in the past teams that played the WC.
EDIT: I don't think it's Paletta's fault. If you notice Italy previous "offensive" action, Darmian was out of position and that influenced the defense alignment. Of course great assist by Rooney...
