Paradigm, good post and I agree. Its kind of an interesting spot - the JJ gives us equity to protect against all his "air", while most of our equity against his mediocre to strong hands is wrapped up in about 33% of our run outs... so (at least against any kind of competent opponent) I think it makes the most sense to check back the flop and either delayed c-bet the turn or play some poker if he bets. Growing the pot on the flop just doesn't seem to help our hand here. I think incorrectly building pots early is a leak of mine I have identified.
