folding to the 3-bet, our hand opens up this big pile of flops for a high % 3-bettor to take advantage of us on since we so rarely flop comfortably or will be in a position to control the pot size. His range would have to be pretty wonky to make me think call; all weighted away from big pairs and in that case, 4-bet is going to be better.
As played, I think your decision on the turn rests on how you think opponent plays two hearts, and hands like your own on the turn. If he barrels his A***:10% and *h*h:10% you are looking at a thin call I think... you'll have 36%ish equity. If opponent is needing more than that to bet again..... like a pair + hearts, or gutter + hearts, A + gutter, and slows down with the rest, we are sitting dirty at 20-5%.
i think your play looks enough like AA/KK+air to assume that's what opponent will base his play off? if I'm in his seat I'm putting you on those hands as played. So I guess its a read thing on whether he'll A) think you have these hands, and B) think you'll fold these hands to a raise on the riv...... or door number 2, just play his range for, which does contain some real hands, for value. I would think without the pot bloated pre-flop, this is a fold. In practice I call and slap myself when he turns over a 5 though : )
