We create a sub tree to see if one sizing would capture enough EV to warrant simplifying our strategy. Out of curiosity though, couldn't limiting this strategic option to 1 sizing change our strategy on previous streets? (We only run it from the river)

The presentation and content of this video is better than most "Elite" videos on RIO. How you're only an Essential Pro is mind boggling. Your effort is greatly appreciated.

ThTc near the end of the video, what are your thoughts on block betting the river for value (especially holding the club)? He should have weaker pp's and some Ace-high that we can get value from.

Great production quality/content/overall feel. You're a welcomed addition and your effort is appreciated. Post session loved the Sword Art Online song ;)

The audio on your end was awful but I could hear Svansa fine. Formatting of the video was awesome, I enjoyed the depth. I feel you should have ran the sims with the ranges he assumed and also with the node locking mentioned. They felt a bit rushed after all the preamble. Thanks for the video.

+1 for a part 2, good content. Leading the 2nd texture wouldn't have crossed my mind especially with our given hand. If we think Villain will be over-folding those type of hands we node locked then they'll more often than not (thought not necessarily) be playing a bit more passive post flop as well. Which would allow us to showdown this hand strength or get a fair bit of x/r's through.

I love the way you've structured this challenge and the depth you've gone into thus far. However I feel you're still spinning your wheels and wasting time putting in non-quality hours. 8-tabling Zoom is not an optimal environment for learning in my humble opinion. I'd stick to 2 or 3 tables and have a 4th table up to replay interesting hands over to yourself.

Have you done rake analysis at differing stakes and how that will change defending ranges? If so/or you have a resource that already shows this do you mind sharing?

At 14:00 ( 4-betting range that rarely includes bluffs ) confuses me.
JJ+ AK would have 50% equity against his given 4-betting range but we can't assume he stacks off his whole 4-betting range...

In my experience the player pool will not fold those hands that we are trying to protect against ( AK AQ AJ AT etc.) to a 15% turn size. In practice I think the player pool is elastic to sizing here and we'd benefit from betting 25-30% instead... ?

I feel like the community at RIO has been exposed to a lot Pio videos. I feel like we didn't really need a whole video of you fumbling through one hand using the software, with very little real takeaway. Your content is usually decent but I felt this was lacking. I look forward to more of your videos hopefully with better pacing and more content.

Hi Sam, at 22:30 52hh vs 87hh are you advocating that he should be betting large and calling a shove on the turn? I think a lot of players go for the turn check-raise because the pot is set up where he doesn't want to bet and then decide/possibly fold with such a large amount of equity. Whereas if he whiffs and you check back he can still realize his equity and bluff on some run outs. Do you think that leading the flop or just check-calling would set the hand up better in his shoes? Thanks for your time.

I think he was joking :)

In my experience a lot of players do pile it in here with AK. I know you're new to the table but when facing a decision like this you should probably look at Villain's country/search him to see if he's multi-tabling a bunch of tournaments. When you're on the fence about a call these little things add up.

You need 33% equity to make the call. His sizing looks really nutted (KK+) , if you feel he will play most of his AK combos like this as well then it's an easy call.

I enjoyed your thoughts during the first quarter of the video during downtime. You're doing a great job explaining your thought processes as well. The last hand with KJs is a check-call for me too, getting blasted off that hand is too disastrous.

It's not intuitive for me to have Hero R > 100% or even near 100% of 72o preflop equity. I'm assuming you can get a better grasp using a program like Flopzilla or Combonator to get a sense for how often hands flop well. How can I become more comfortable calculating R?
