I decide to check/call because I don't want to scare any lower pairs that cbet and Kx might even fold on that dry board

Now this I'm not sure of. I thought I couldn't represent any draws or value hands that do not beat him so I decide to call again.

New to this forum, won't post my results next time.
My thought process was that I didn't want to make a mistake calling his big check raise and then folding on pretty much every turn that isn't a diamond. You're right that my range is a bit too optimistic. He's not getting it in with most flush draws but I think he is definitely capable of check raising OESD no diamond and stuff like Qd9d. Normally I would also just call thinking it's a bit spazzy to try to get it in with only 1 pair but the wet board and me trying to override my thought process of him only having the top of his range there caused me to overthink it a little bit and made it a cool 26. The fact that I block most of his FD's also is a valid point.
Thx !
