The way it looks to me is he either had JJ, small flush, or something like J with Ks kicker. What did he have?

If you call that turn you have to call the river. I think most air would bet this flop but the fact that he checked tells me he has something. Just like you checked back your TP would be a sign to me you hit it. I say either fold turn or call it down.

Your hand is basically a bluff catcher at this point you said you felt he was aggro and that's why you called off. If you thought he was bluffing your play makes sense. I don't know anything about him but it really looks to me like he had A4, 55, 54, A3, or total air. Would love to know if it's any of those.

I agree with Spliphex you are in position and have a lot of options post flop....float, raise, etc. good poker is not about who has a better hand it's about convincing your opponents that you have a better hand. I like the call pre, raise OTF and OTT its iffy. Turn you're only trying to get a fold from AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, etc but it's not likely he would call with those OTF he probably has over pair. At these stakes you're not getting over pair to fold. I think turn is maybe check and river is definitely check back.

I see the board very clearly. I think at these stakes people bet wide I'm assuming Qx is betting here most of the time so is a draw. I'm saying his most likely hands here are draws one of which just got there. Your range for these stakes is too narrow and at micro stakes people don't really think hands through that well. You're watching too many pro's break down hands of players who are on a different level. These stakes people rarely think adjust your strategy for much wider ranges.

It's unlikely he has a set of 99 or 88 the only set left is QQ and he probably would have 3 bet it preflop. His flop raise is either better two pair but again doubtful or most likely a FD or SD or something like 9hXh. I would probably get it in OTF and not even think of folding because you block so many of his strong hands. The turn sucks here not sure what to tell you but that's why I would get it in OTF to make life easy for myself.

I think at this level very few players are folding two pair+ or AXd. When you raise the turn you're gonna get called a high percentage of the time here and you're gonna have to followup big river on any non board pairing and nondiamond rivers. At this level when you raise this turn you're gonna get called almost always you have to be prepared for the river followup.

Why do you guys prefer to raise the turn, to set up a river jam or huge bet?

I see. So he was restarted

I'd love to know what he had here. I figure anything two pair+ bets heavier OTT. I'm guessing probably flush draw or straight draw. Possible he had a set of 33 or 77. But again I figure anything 2 pair or better bets heavier OTT.
What did he have?
