Yes you are very right. Holdemmanager stats and graphs should always be taken with a grain of salt. Comparing my results to other winning regs in my db is a very good idea.
btw as I posted a few posts earlier my river call efficiency is in the very low 1s and my W$SD% is below 49.
So I guess I have some work to do :)

Interesting Idea. But Im not sure about it. Imagine a theoretical situation were a villain is giving us 3:1 pot odds on the river. In that case we should call with all of our hands that have at least 25% equity vs villains range. All hands above 25% are winning us money. Hands with exactly 25% should be breakeven. And hands that dont have 25% equity would lose money, therefore were are going to fold them ( well I dont apparently ;D). So even if we get to river with a very weak range that does only contain hands which have less than 25% eq, we should not lose any money on river calls, simply because we should not be calling any hand.
So you could still be right that there is a problem with my river range beeing too weak in general. But Im not sure if that would be an explanation for losing money on river calls.

Thanks for posting your graph!

I guess you are right about hero calling to much. Here are my river call efficiency and W$SD% stats. From a little research I just did it seems liks my river call efficiency is horrible.

Yes "River Call" looks like it is the same. I used the "flat river" though. You can find it in the bottom right under "qick filters" in the basic filters tab.

You have a point for it beeing not that important since I am still winning, but I mean you can always win more :)
Besides that as I stated above my last 100k hands didnt go very well. So it might be a good idea to pay some attention to this.

Hi everyone,

I checked my database a few days ago and was kinda suprised by my results when calling a river bet. I used the quick filter "flat river" in HM2 and got this graph as a result of my last 100k hands.

I wasnt necessarily shocked by the results since I wasnt playing and performing well on that sample.
But when I checked my other database where I am a decent winner over more than 1,5m hands the results were very unexpected.

I was wondering if anybody has some thoughts on this. What are we expected to win when calling a river bet? I guess we shouldnt win too much, because we get pot odds and when we are far ahaed of the opponents range we are going to raise. But still, I am losing 300 stacks over 8k hands. That looks like an insane major leak to me :)

Any help or thoughts on this are greatly appreciated! I would also be interested in some of your river calling results.

e: looks like I also need help on how to post pics in this forum :)
