What a coincidence i was actually going over this spot today. I used to have a split range from the sb vs co but have been thinking lately that it is much easier to construct my range by only 3 betting.
Splitting my range appropriately was very tricky. I think splitting against the button works because they are more than twice as wide so u get to call more hands

Doesnt that formula ignore the range vs range equities on different boards? I know in your example the equities were 50/50 but what about boards that are 55/45 or streets where there is a bigger shift to 60/40. How will the defending frequencies change when there is an imbalance in the equities?

This is a really cool video that demonstrates the complexities of NLH. What do you think of "pruning the game tree" to make it easier to construct your range? For example, eliminating a x/r or x/c strategy.

The hand where you bet/folded A4s on the turn in the 3b pot. You said you expected him to call. Do you expect people to be calling those size bets? I have been betting much smaller so his check/jam isn't as attractive. I feel people are leveraged to shove or fold vs that sizing with that SPR

Hi Felipe,
I just registered to ROI and was interested in your second hand. Do you think your sizing on the turn invites a shove and perhaps a smaller sizing can promote the turn+river subgame? Or do you think that that his range is so compromised that it doesn't matter?

I like your strategy of only checking back on this flop.
I think this hand is well played

Hand 1 I would range the 30bb shove as something like JJ-77,AK-AQ,AxJx i.e. the kind of hands that a player doesn't want to see a flop with and not have to play post flop. I think this range is skewed towards the AK, JJ type of hands. And with the original raiser yet to act I would fold AQ in this spot.

This gives you 47% in hot and cold equity.
Not sure if all combos of KJo exist since a nitty player wont be flatting these from the SB.
This leaves me thinking that it is best to muck the hand on the flop.
What did you have his flop x/r range to be?
First video I have watched with the elite subscription, loved it
