I would bet more OTT and shove river, the player looks reggish so hes gonna have some worse calls there for sure

Im playing stuff like movie soundtracks, sounds of a rain/fireplace, or really calm electronic music, something that is just a nice calming background creating a good atmosphere but not distracting me.

How I got rid of my tilt issues was basicaly realising that every player is going to face the same obstcles as you at some point. In that case it's several bad beats in a row, running into the top of the range etc.
An enormous part of your edge will be the difference between how you react compared to the rest of the player pool. If you can still make good decisions after few badbeats you are basically winning even though you're having a bad session.
I hope it makes sense but as some mentioned before - good mentality is they key. Try reading Jared's Tendler "Mental Game of Poker". So many useful advice there :)

Its gonna take years not months. Fasten your patience seatbelt :) I had same doubts as you but at some point I just understoood it takes 10 times more than
you think to become good. Never give up and if you study a lot you will get there :)

Love the videos man, realised how much value I miss while playing against recreationals. Great content, keep it up and waiting for more :)

Don't love it but I think it's a call especially given your small flop sizing.
I don't think UTG has 66 and 88 in his range given there was an MP caller behind him.

Thanks for the answer, I really appreciate:)
You definitely made me think about my study approach here on RIO and will definitely try some more theory videos!

What are your personal recommendations then ? Would love to hear an opinion of someone more experienced. I watched plenty of theory videos but I always felt that the live play ones are giving me the most.

If you start learning 6max cash games watch all live play videos of Cameron Couch, Paul Atwal and Iain Salter.
Watch every video once, take notes then watch again.

I'd avoid cold calling, instead 3bet a lot.
People fold too much. When you 3bet you give yourself a chance to take down the pot before it's getting raked.
Avoid marginal multi way pots.

By call pre do you guys mean calling the 4bet or flatting his open?
I do often just flat opens vs them nits not to pump the pot. Do you think it makes sense ? Or QQ should be always a 3bet?

I think i like betting as well. Ad and Kd cut a lot of his flushdraws and if he has AxQd/Jd/Td he will be calling for sure. It looks like he doesn't like folding so even combos without a D may call.

Given population reads and sizings folding turn doesn't sound completely ridiculous to me. He has no draws, turn is a bad card to barell. As you said he can barell AK and I'd say maybe KJ given blockers but it's just few hands which you block.
It definitely is super exploitable but I wouldn't worry about that so much at the micros.
- he's looking nitty

SB: $5.73
BB: $5.00
UTG: $34.75
MP: $5.84
CO: $1.72

I think folding in these spots on micros makes the difference between winning and breakeven/losing players.
I am still learning to do that but given the experience 90% of the time it's a flush.

What do you guys think about lower sizing OTF? I'd bet there around 50%.
March 9, 2017 | 1:52 p.m.
I think it's close but you are basically aiming QJs and maybe JTs. If he's tight probably just QJs which he may fold sometimes. I would check.
March 1, 2017 | 11:18 a.m.
It looks disgusting. If I were BB i would never raise that turn vs UTG if I had a set.
So imo he has Ax or 6x. We are still calling to chop or lose but he should have way less value combos.
Does he raise a flushdraw without an A there ? And jams the river repping a FH?
I don't think so but I may be wrong.
Vs unknown I think I would fold the river with tears in my eyes :) Calling vs specific opponents.
I'll wait for someone better to comment on that as it's a pretty tricky spot and it's too much for my brain.
March 1, 2017 | 11:07 a.m.
Definitely calling, the board favours the preflop caller so I think if we raise we get him off all the bluffs and we are left vs TT, KK and AA (given his large sizings I don't think he ever calls a raise with a draw). I considered him having AK which he'd probably call a raise with as well (holding As,Ac,Ad). However, I don't see AK cbetting this board at all vs BTN flat, and especially with this sizing :)
Cheers!

Yeah I guess I should definitely raise the turn, thanks !

Feb. 12, 2017 | 4:23 a.m.
I can see him instashoving KQ, KJ, diamonds etc but I hate calling these spots.
I fell like limp call line has more mediocre hands though.
Feb. 9, 2017 | 1:25 a.m.
Well, a flatting range in the SB is always really hard to figure out for me as I feel like everyone is playing that position differently.
Although I think it's a good call. I can't find any hand that beats you apart from 88.
I would assume TT is in 3bet range (?) - that's where I struggle because I am probably 3betting 100% from SB vs BTN myself but people flat some weird cards there.
If he shows up with a straight I'd just say good job mate.
In general I would play the hand same way :D
Feb. 9, 2017 | 1:17 a.m.
Yeah but we don't beat any of the 64 combos ?
Jan. 21, 2017 | 6:11 p.m.
Why a J is a good blocker in that scenario? Don't really get it, thanks !
Jan. 21, 2017 | 1:46 a.m.
Does it make sense to think that there is no Tx in both ranges ? Apart from TT.
Would you use any Tx there to 3B or call a 3B?
My thinking is he has only TT+ there and a hand like A5s, AK, KQs.
So check calling the river?
Jan. 21, 2017 | 1:41 a.m.
What exactly do you mean by the fact we have to beat 16 combos out of 64?
We don't beat any combo from all those 64 (?) maybe I'm stupid sorry :D
never fold unless someone's like 15/12/2
I would call down a lot of rivers to be honest cause TT is the top of my range there. Id always 4bet JJ+ vs a fish and that sizing so
